Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson has dismissed suggestions that a rare condition could prevent him from ever dancing again.
Following his win on Saturday a newspaper reported that George's condition left him blind in one eye for two months before Christmas and said doctors had warned him he should stop his beloved break dancing in case it left him permanently disabled.
However, speaking to ITV News, George said: "It's not that bad. I have a curve in my spine and it's called Scheuermann's disease. That cranks up a few times but it's nothing bad. It doesn't really affect my dancing and I don't really think about it when I'm dancing."
George put in a slick performance to Singing In The Rain, winning plaudits from the judges and the most phone votes from the watching public.
In doing so he won £100,000 and the opportunity to appear in front of the Prince of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance.
He has also faced cruel taunts about the dancing that has been his passion since the age of six.
George said: "Kids called me a beggar for busking. But now I just think, 'I'm the one on TV, not you'."
He put his success down to a last-minute change of heart over his act.
The dancer said he originally intended to perform to a Bee Gees classic in the final before switching back to a tried and tested routine.

Good on him, and he now has my vote even more as he didn't use his slight disability to gain any more votes.
