Iron man!

Watched it yesterday! Was great, my mate said it was all funded by marvel so there wasnt too much Hollywood bullshit in it!
Robert downey jr is great as a funny and lovable hero! Its not loads of action in it, so dont think its going to be a big action movie.
Its 2 hours of him making his first prototype suit, then realising the errors of his ways making another two to help right his wrongs in the arms industry. It was quite funny and some bits and robert is always entertaining, its good that he didnt just get a big bad ass suit straight away and it made it a bit more "realistic" though i use the term loosely!
Def worth a watch if your a fan of marvel or robert, but dont be fooled into thinking its a big typically american action blockbuster.

I'm a big fan of Robert Downey Jr, have been since he was part of the 80s brat pack and in films like Chaplin and Air America, it's great to see he's come through his alcohol and drug problems and has managed to get back to the top of his game.

Ironman is at the very top of my list of movies to see at the mo, even more so after seeing Downey on the Ross show recently.

You've just made me want to see it even more now after reading this.

Yep great film Downey Jnr charismatic as ever. I don't agree about it not being a typical blockbuster though, I'd say it was just that with plenty of action. A great example of a blockbuster movie like Spiderman or something like that.

Why didn't he just build a walkie talkie rather than a huge robotic exo-skeleton though?

I disagree i think there wasnt that much big bad action until the very end, until then he was pretty much unmatched.

I dont think he could of stop the bad guys with a walkie talkie!
