What are you watching atm? And why?

I'm watching "The Thing". Was on the other day on the sci-fi channel. G/f doesn't like scary movies so this is the first chance I've gotten to see it (she's watching qvc live on her pc).

I like scary movies and find this one excellent

Is the sort of movie I can either watch once every week/two weeks, or a couple of times back-to-back in one go and still want to watch it again the next month

Terminator - the Sarah Connor chronicles

It's good to see that they've found a way to carry on the franchise,
if you can look past the plot holes, and the very bad choice of actor
for John Connor, it's quite entertaining
hopefully it'll heat up as it gets going, because atm it's slack in places,
i like the robot v robot combat sequences, and how spooky
the bare metal ones look
there's not much else on TV i bother with atm.

Lost and the new series 12 of South Park and this thing called 'The Real Hustle' on iPlayer/BBC3 because it has a ridiculously fine bird on it called Jess.
Little Mosque on the Prairie, Carpoolers, Aliens in America, Mythbusters = crappy American tosh I grab off the RSS feeds on the ole torrents.
Torchwood, The Late Edition, The Last Enemy, Jonathan Meades' Magnetic North = crappy British tosh I grab off iPlayer.
On telly just Question Time which scares me senseless at how fucking stupid the people in the audience can be, This Week, Eggheads, Question of Sport.
Bad time of year really for TV programmes because it is sort of in-between seasons in Britain and a lot of the good American stuff got delayed because of that selfish strike thing some homos did.

Watching Stargate at the mo, the episode where Jack gets impailed to the wall with that odd rod thingy. But we waiting till Blooddimond comes on @ 8

Those are the main of the TV programs i've either got currently set to record to my Virgin Media box or that I already have the entire series recorded and set to watch, which I enjoy.

The main channels I have pretty much permanently on in the background while i'm working or on the computer though are BBC News 24 and VH1 Classic.

Always try to watch stuff like Life In Cold Blood and other Attenborough shows and also the odd house buying and selling, gardening and nature type shows.
