Was going to take family to see it but uncertain as in...Roland Emmerich films some bits good some bits well...never let a plot hole get in the way of an impressve sfx sequence.

The ads have started on TV now and my Kids are making pestering noises.

I know it's hard to tell from a short advert but it looks like just a couple of miles walk from Ice age mountain regions to the arrid desert where the woolly Mammoths live???

speaking of which has anyone heard of the "movie" Expelled: no intelligence allowed?

It's a new "movie" that explains how evolution and science is wrong and god is actually true etc etc. A must see for xtian fundies

yeah if you go to the richarddawkins.net website, theres a link there, you might to do a bit of a search though.

But if you are religious it's not the site for you. its a site dedicated to critical thinking and very very atheist. In fact its main cmapaign is against religion in all its forms.

i found it to be a good film....not excellent...not bad...just fairly good, good special effects and what not, and dont let the whole oh egyptians didnt have copper bronze and what not in that age....and mammoths wherent so and so....because lets face it...maountain dwellers 12,000 years ago didnt speak english....but u dont meantion that in ur bloody reviews, its for entertainment values its not a true story tranlatted from cave paintings.

very nice little love story in it, which is almost saddening at points.....but u dont really see that much fighting what is sad because its about cave men....we need fighting!! and action....thats all it lacked really but a good film really
