Virtua Fighter 5 Comes to 360

Here’s a little more salt on the already oozing, pussing wound that just won’t seem to close for Sony. SEGA announced today that Virtua Fighter 5 wil be coming to the Xbox 360 towards the end of summer 2007. But, PS3 owners will be able to play the game first when it’s released in February 2007.

Cant blame SEGA really, even though VF will be a console seller, i doubt their will be enough PS3s out there by feb to cover the cost of making this game.

It looks stunning btw

We are use to seeing ports (go abit wrong) from 360 to PS3, be nice to see it the other way around and see the difference.

I'm thinking TFs community may want to start taking a little notice of the news stories I post in the news forums.

I broke that story about 2 minutes after it was released by the company.

Sorry not having a go at you Wedgy, but for the last two days i've been breaking a lot of gaming media stories faster than even sites like Gamespy, Gamespot and Eurogamer and people haven't even bothered reading them, even though they are certainly not copied or anything, they are direct from the companies publishing the stories, straight to me, straight to TF, it's getting pretty annoying.

The whole 360 achievements system probably intrigued them as well just as it has intrigued many developers into developing for the 360, it gives so many games so much replayability. VF5 will be an awesome game and probably even more so when taken online.

I'm getting more and more relationships set up with press companies, not just for games, but also for music and films too.

I've contacted roughly 850 parent companies in the music, gaming and movie business in the last 4 days now and had replies from around 400 so far and every single one has been damn positive. I've been added to all kinds of mailing lists in the process.

As a guess, posting news, articles and the likes on TF may just have to become one of my primary duties.
