Xbox 360 wireless? no adaptor?

Just ordered my xbox YAY! got the one from game with GoW and CoD3 for 309 free postage

so sorting out everything i need to get online!
so anyone know how to get their xbox connect wirelessly without the adapter? i keep coming across ebooks on ebay about it?

i dont have a 360 myself so im not certain, but i think u have to get the 360 wireless adapter to use the console wirelessly

edit: oh n if ur ISP is a limited service, i.e. can only dl so much a month, i recommand getting in touch with them and telling them u just bought urself a nice shiny 360 n need the limits removing

Your gonna need some kind of adaptor if u want wireless i would imagin.

Dunno how u get it otheriwse, unless you hack into the wireless of the controllers.

you cant connect wirelessly without the (microsoft) wireless adapter.
unless there has been a third party release lately, there isnt to my knowledge, it suck cos you gotta pay another 60 squid for the branded one

cant you hard wire it??

edit: good choice of games btw, both rock online also.

Yeah I think you can only connect wirelessly through the official Microsoft adapter which is pretty pricey and the only reason I am not on XBOX Live as the ethernet cable that came packaged with my premium is about a foot too short to reach the phone line -_-

as long as your router has a spare ethernet errrr hole in the back then it will work.

i have a netgear router and its wired to my pc and 360 and wireless to my laptop and psp,
so most routers can have multiple conections.

think ill just stick with a cat5 cable, seeing as i dont want my wireless adaptor to be my laptop and dont wanna pay out 60 quid for an adaptor!

No spare slots as we have a big network and lots linked up to it.

Don't matter anyway cause I get paid this week so I already have plans to order my wireless adapter and I shall have to give you all a few DM's on GoW by the end of the week hehehe
