Rumor: "Avatars" are Microsoft's take on Mii's? - Xbox 360 Fanboy

What a diaster. Xbox is fine how it is and now it is trying to become the Wii.
All those saying, "Omg! What a brilliant idea!". Well it's an idea that Nintendo already had!
Sorry Microsoft, this is poor... I hope they will let us keep our gamer pictures, because moulding a market all round this casual nonsense is bad for gaming.
Please, whoever came up with the notion to copy Nintendo - Lock yourself in a room, with a revolver and a single bullet, and PLEASE! Don't hesitate to do the right thing.

I surprised they have taken this long to do something like that, but they do look very much like the mii's. You could argue that its good business to take the good aspects of something and add it to your own product?

You could. But the 360 was standing perfectly well on its own. I don't really think they need to copy the Wii, what with the rumour of the motion sensing remote for the 360 as well.

Animated avatars are a natural progression really and the 360 will always be considered "behind" on a few things because of being released earlier than its rivals, so itll keep adding features.

The little people thingy from the wii is gay anyway, just a timewaste to hide the fact all the games are shite boring after about 15mins of play. Motion sensing controls arent exclusive either, i have like a 10 year old pc gamepad that senses movement and thats made by microsoft :p
