First look at the new PoP

Okay, so it isn't gameplay, but I thought I'd post this here. I am quite a big Prince of Persia fan and I'm really looking foward to this. The artwork looks similar to the style of MGS.

Should think they would be using AC's engine for it? If so it will have a good grounding.

Apparently they will be using the engine from AC. Only bad thing I've heard is that they might be getting rid of the time control.

A chance for their artist to show off. Little snippits like that do keep people interested. Iv only played pop once or twice and I wasnt that impressed with it really.

I like seeing concept art being done, it shows just how much effort the artists put into their characters...

I was more impressed by Ubisofts logo than anything else though, I thought the animation for it looked really cool. (I've not played a Ubisoft game in a while).

I loved Sands of Time, but in a way it felt like I had cheat mode permanently turned on or something.

I'm not sure how they can keep on taking the game forward though, it's been done and redone and done from many new angles over the years, surely there's only so much more they can actually explore in the PoP franchise?

We'll soon see. Ubisoft Montreal claimed that they're planning to "redefine the action-adventure genre". It's a claim that many developers make, so it'll be interesting to see what will become of it.
