A cleaver ploy really, consumer spending is always low this time of year. Dropping their price has to benefit both their slower selling consoles and the xbox's integerty on the market. Not every one goes for what may be the best console but the cheepest offer is will win over those who have less cash, and lets face it, theres a lot of them around!
