1. =What is Martial Heroes=
Martial Heroes is an online MMORPG (der...) based in the ancient times. A combination of fantasy and traditional ancient
martial history. The game is built around the teqniques of martial arts. Bringing the teqniques of old times into a 3D
game experience. The Hero, Heroinne must defeat monster and go on quests on a journey to bring the world into a time of
eternal peace, while at the same time hunting down people that may disturb the peace. A world of martial arts.
"Now, with great pride, we bring this world to you in the form of a massive multiplayer online role-playing game!
The Empire of Martial Heros uses a beautifully constructed 3D graphics engine to bring this Realm of Martial Arts to life!

all of the world. The Empire of Martial Heros will bring you a realistic fantasy world that could only have existed in the
wildest recesses of your imagination." - Plot from "www.martialheroes.com"
2. =The Classes=
The game offers you a choice of four classes. These classes each have different skills, weapons, weapons, armour and
features. And each of them offer a unique gaming experience. These classes are Warrior, Assassin, Monk and Mage.
Warrior - An adventurer, gifted with superior strength. His specialties are attacking the enemy head on, with full
Brute strength. He weilds either a scimitar, axe or lance.

ending to any battle. She can master both close and ranged combat useing twin daggers, Bow or Spike Gauntlets (Katars)

skills to increase health and aid in defence and offence. Trains with a Pole, Mace or Shields (Loops)
Mage - A high graduate who possesses much intelligence. A master of magic and cunning tactics. He defeats enemies with
his powerful skills to stop enemies in their tracks. Uses a fan, glove or sword.
Each class trains different stats. Stats are what makes your characters strong. These are str, vit, dex, agi, int.
Str - Strength and main attribute of Warrior. Increases physical power.
vit - Vitality and sub attribute of monk. Increases defence and max health points.
Dex - Dexterity (Tactics/Accuracy etc) and main attribute of assassin. Increases accuracy and movement speed
Agi - Agility and sub attribute of assassin. Increases attack speed and dodge rate.
Int - Intelligence and main attribute of monk and mage. Increases max mana and skill damage.
Each class will need a combination of all stats to achieve a powerful and fast character.
==== Index FAQ ====
*Equipment that you buy have certain stat restrictions. You cannot wear them unless all requirements have been made.
*The weapon you choose to use for your character, the requirements for that weapons are your character's focused stats.
If you have nothing else to put spare points on, increase these values.
*Always use points that will allow you to use more equipment. If a hat requires intelligence and you are a warrior, then
you place points on intelligence until you are able to wear the hat.
#Update# 1.05
*Everytime you level up into a multiple of 12, (lvl 12, 24, 36, 48 etc) you gain an extra 2 stat points so instead of
the normal 3, you get 5. Only for that level though.

3. =From Nub to Intermediate=
In this section, I will explain to you how you can make a character withstand the heat of high level battles. These tips
may vary for different classes so pay attention.
- 1. Always buy the latest equipment! Keep constantly buying new equipment as you level up! Even if you have a +1,
Buy some new gear when you reach the level. Also, don't buy anything early... You may pick it up when your training. But
when you do hit the level, just buy it!
- 2. FILL UP ALL ITEM SLOTS!!! I can't stress this enough. When you get enough money, buy 2 rings, a necklace
and a bracelet as quickly as possible! These add up to your defencive power and attack power. At the start they may
not seem all that important but as you hit your high 20's they become a neccessity.
- 3. Prepare before training. Always buy a town warp scroll and bring at least 20 potions. 50+ if possible. Remember
to also when given the chance, get the meditation skill.
- 4. Potions are for battle, meditation is for resting. Only use your potions, when you are running low on health
in battle. Try to prevent useing them in between enemies. Instead, meditate. There's no rush!
- 5. Update your skills. These are your super strenth. They do more damage than normal attacks and dont cost you
a thing... except mana... which seems to regenerate as fast as you use it...
- 6. Dont ignore your self support and passive skills. They DO come in handy! Assassin self support skills are
what make them deadly.
- 7. Mage have the advantage of having a stunning skill (fan). Always use this when possible. Having high intelligence,
means that the mana is quickly regenerated and you get dealt less damage when they are stunned. Also use it when you need
to run away from the battle field.
- 8. Quests... These are your cheap tickets to eliteness... Quests are usually easy to do and give you lots of coins
and experience. These are vital to keep your character leveling fast. From level 1 - 36, a quest guide is availiable in
the help menu (see commands)
- 9. Party time! When given the opertunity, always hunt with a party. Haveing a party of two doesnt seem to affect
your shared exp so you have nothing to lose when partying with another person. (see commands on How to Party) And its faster
too!
- 10. Its just a game so keep cool and have fun playing it! Talk it out with other people, make friends, thats what
these games are all about! Getting people accross the world together and having fun!
- 11. If you get some weaker equipment or some equipment you already have, instead of going straight to the npc,
try selling them to other players for cheaper than what the npc's sell to you. You get more gold/silver/bronze that
way and you help out someone by saving them money buying from the npcs! #Update# 1.05
=== Elites out to Get ya ===
Sometimes, you may get challenged to duel with another player.... Make sure you observe the character before
dueling to check whether they have an unfair level advantage. Also, players with "Novice" in front of their name
are elite players lvl 36+. Don't let them fool you when they wear noob clothes and challenge you to a duel!
4. =Skill Book Knowhow=
I see this question pop up heaps of times in Valley Village. How do i use skills or how do i get skills? I'll explain how =)
1. First, you must be lvl 12 to be able to use skills. But thats not the only requirement. You have to complete your level 12 quests (I.E Occupation quest for mage, warrior, assassin, monk). If you dont do the quest, a message will come up in orange saying "You are not in position"
2. After doing the quest, you then go to your job master or to the book seller gp.
3. There are 4 types of skills. There are:
Active Skills = Skills that do damage when u use them
Passive Skills = Skills that run in the background
Buffing Skills = Skills that aid you when you use them
Basic Skill = Skills that change your attacking moves
Most buffing and active skills require a Basic Skill before you can use it. Before you can use those active and buffing skills, you must buy yourself a Basic skill. The basic skills are the colour yellow/gold when you buy them. There are 3 of them in a row for different weapons. Remember to check which Basic Skill you are buying before you buy it.
4. When you have bought your basic skill, right click the skill in your inventory. That then should activate your skill. This opens up the skill menu and you should see a little picture on the top left. Click the picture once and click ok. You now have a basic skill and a new attack move.
5. Now when you have done this, you can buy your buffing skills or active skills. To use the skills, simply repeat all of the above steps with the active skill (red) or the buffing skill (blue). When you have done that, open up your skill menu.
6. On the left hand side of the screen, there is a little vertical bar with little square in it and a number. First you click the active, buffing skill. This should make the picture stick to your curser. You then click on one of the square you wish to hotkey it to.
7. When you have done this, click the number that you have put the picture skill on to use the skill!
*Sometimes, on rare occasions, when you combinate certain skills, it will make a crashing sound and the skill will change animation. Lets call this a "Skill Critical Combo" (Its real name is Finishing Blow or Deathblow). Green light goes everywhere and your damage becomes green. When this occurs, the damage you have dealt is greater than when you normally use the skill.
*Another handy hint: You can use the same skill on different levels! So if you have a level 2 skill, you can use The level 2 skill and then level 1 skill right after. Some cool Skill Crit Combos in here as well*
*Uncertain method to skill crit: When you have just finished a normal strike, press one skill, and then immediately tap the second skill. Usually if your timing is right, you can crit it easy.*
5. =Quests=
Quests are the lifeblood of experience and cash. Always do them when given the opertunity. Also, some quests can give you
rare items such as Occupational Tests and Intialazation water tests. The following is a guide on the quests up to
level 36. When you hit 36, you are an official high class player.

6. =Advanced Commands=
In martial heroes there are alot of hidden commands you can play around with. Alot of character commands can be obtained
by holding the Ctrl button and clicking on a character. This brings up a menu with all these options from Trading to dueling
to adding as friend and so on. Dueling is the polite version of Player Kill.
Player kill can only be done when you obtain the "Novice" rank at level 36. You may only Player Kill (pk) other 36+ characters
To player kill you must hold Shift and double click the character. This will start attacking them and setting them as an
enemy. Dying from PK does not make you drop items.
When you hit level 36+, when you die, you lose 1 - 2 items from your inventory. To prevent loss of rare items, use the quad
NPC's to store your items in their cargo. You may also use the Quad NPC's to send items and cash to other players using
the delivery command.
When you become either Lawful or Evil, you obtain a new character function called fame. Having a high fame level may
bring your character extra benefits like the right to join a guild or a change of Extra name from Novice to amateur,
to youngster.
In the top right of your screen is a minimap which displays other players (blue dots) enemies (red dots) and npcs (green dots)
If you click on the map, you will get an enlarged version of the map you are currently on. Keep in mind that there are
a few other maps other than the valley village map that you can explore later on as you become elite.
If you wish to set up a shop, you must click the vending button in your item menu. When you click on this, another little
inventory should appear like a shop. You drag your items into the shop window and type in the ammount of coins you wish
to sell it for. Keep in mind that what you type is in bronze so if u want to sell something for 10 silver u must type,
10000 to make it 10 silver.
There are also a few chat commands that you may use to express emotions with your character. To use the commands, just type
the word in your normal chat bar.
Type this | What it does
Sit Makes you sit down
Wake up/Rise Makes you stand up
^^ Makes your character laugh
No Makes your character refuse
Cry Makes your character cry
sleep/hold on a sec Makes you turn on away mode
That way Makes your character point
Ready Makes your character hyperactive...
Dance ... I wish... Should be implemented!!
7. Upgrading/Creating
<- Upgrading>
If you notice, some weapons and equipment have a +1 or +2 at the end of the name. These items have an advanced quality so
if you have a sword with +1, it does more physical damage than a normal sword. So it is important that you upgrade your
equipment when you grow up. Upgrading is quite simple to understand. The upgrading items are a rare drop. These items
can be, either made from mining/harvesting items or dropped rarely from a monster. The items are...
=WEAPON UPGRADING ITEMS=
LL W- Upgrade mineral which is for upgrading +1 or +2 weapons to +2 and +3.
ML W- upgrade mineral is for upgrading +3 and +4 weapons to +4 and +5
HL W- Is for upgrading for up to +8 and +9. Getting weapons up to +8 and +9 are extremely rare and are worth ALOT of gold.
=ARMOUR UPGRADING ITEMS=
Ice Stone is for upgrading Armour to +2 and +3
Ice Stone Ore is for upgrading Armour to +4 and +5
And Ice Stone Crystal is for upgrading armour right up to +8 and +9. Getting armour to +8 and +9 is extremely rare and are
worth ALOT of gold.
=JEWELERY UPGRADING ITEMS=
Mano is for upgrading accessories to +2 and +3
Red mano is for upgrading accessories to +4 and +5
And Seungji mano is for upgrading accessories to +8 and +9. Again, it is an extremely rare occasion to get it this far
and is worth HELL OF ALOT of gold.
*Note that only equipment that are +1 or more can be upgraded. Normal equipment cannot be upgraded.
*It is safe to upgrade equipment to +3 but after that, there is a chance that the equipment will break or just fail.
----!Basic Instructions!----
If you have an ice stone, with level 42~47 (example) It can be refined but the minimal level requirement with any character. Here's a visual..
Ice Stone
Purity 35%/upgrading Clothes/42~47
Minimal Level: 12 etc
The 42~47 is the clothes level. On each equipment, there will be a level requirement. That is also the equipment level. If you have a 42~47, you may only refine equipment that have a level requirement of, 42~47.
For example if you had a Warrior Armour with a min level requirement of 38, you cannot use a level 42~47 ice stone to upgrade it. But, if you had a Red Flower Ja, with a min level requirement of 42, you can upgrade the item IF IT IS +1 OR MORE. Normal equipment with no +'s cannot be upgraded.
-
If you've been picking up items, you should get things such as, ores cotton meteor stones etc. These items are used for creating. Creating is a very convienient way of saving MONEY!!! I swear it took me up to level 40 to figure that out. Buying Clothes and weapons at the NPC are very damaging to your pocket, so take advantage of the ores and stuff and make it! Here are some pro's and cons of creating:
Pro:
*Saves you major money
*Has a chance to make it a + item
*Easy and efficiant to do
*Very cheap...
Cons:
*You can make the wrong item if your not careful (by that i mean str,dex etc)
*You dont know what are needed to make things without a manual
Wow... that's it! Making is very useful!!!
Here's a step by step guide to creating:
----!Basic Making Instructions!----
1. Always pick up the ores, cottons and such.
2. Buy the manual that creates the item. (This is self explanitory... You dont buy a necklace manual if you want to make Armour...)
3. Right click the manual and select what you want to make. Take this to check your items and get more if you're low on items.
4. Drag the items to the manual window with the correct equipment selected.
5. Click produce when ready.
Simple and clean (is the way that you making me feeeeel tonniiiiite it's hard to let it go~)
8. =Leveling Spots
Here are some basic leveling spots that should suit any class. These are just guidelines so feel free to hunt other monsters or explore.

18 - 25 - Tigers, Angry Tigers (orange), Bears, Angry Bears (dark brown), Alpine Warriors, Alpine Hunters, White Tigers, Brown Bears, Yin-Yangs (All Around Bhoko Temple)

The monster diffuculty rating is the coloured sword next to its name. The difficulty ratings go as shown:

Green = Easy
Blue = Normal
Orange= Difficult
Red = Harsh/VHard
If you have GM Buffs on, attempt the next section on for faster experience (i.e if ur level18 -25 attempt the 25 - 32 section)
9. =Know-How Ruleings
Remember, that Martial Heroes is still a social environment so keep in mind that there are other people playing this
game other than yourself. Which means...
1. Please try not to abuse your privledges. Dont try and stuff up the game for other people.
2. There is no 2. 1 should have explained it all.
And remember, Its just a game. Dont get 2 upset if you lose a duel or die when the enemy drops a rare item... maybe if its
uber rare... But keep it chill! You respawn! Smile!
10. =Things you should know=
-
Every now and then, on very rare ocasions, you may encounter a special monster. This monster is bigger than most others, and only spawns once every Day or 3 days ><. The boss monsters are very strong but if you should run into one, don't hesitate to attack it. You may die, but you wont get another chance like that for a long time.
When i was walking on the way to gunryun, i happened to be at the scene when an Ox Commander (Blue dude on 2 legs and a hammer?) I rushed at it and got completely obliterated... But not without dealing 20% damage from it. Then some high level monk came and killed it... I was busy running back... T-T
But if you manage to kill the monster, it may drop special, necklaces, rings and bracelets. When all of the equipments are combined, your character gets a special aura flying around them. The sets are as follows:
White Rainbow Set? - Level 12
Seven Stars - level 24
Tetra Set - level 36
Golden Dragon - level 48
Silver Saira (I think thats what its called...) - level 60
