Legend of Mir 3The unique characteristics of Legend of Mir 3, which have become the proud trademarks of this MMORPG, are the 3 superbly balanced character classes, exciting siege warfare, massive AI invasions and raids, easy intuitive interfaces, its own unique quest system and the complex element system. “Mir” means “dragon” in ancient Korean and the continent, which is the place for the game play, bears the name as well. The users, who wish to step on this mysterious and amazing world, will be able to select a role of Warrior, Sorcerer, and Taoist to be reborn as a hero to repulsing the endless attacks from the evil forces and protect the continent.
I was sad to see mir servers closing forever a few weeks ago.
Suddenly the forums are buzzing with new Mir 3 threads, and people are welcoming it back? Has it reopened under a new company? How much is it to play? What's going on!? I can't afford to become addicted to Mir again!
Both Mir 2 and Mir 3 are back yes. WeMade are running Mit 3 themselves a Japanese company called Ganepot are running Mir 2 via America. Both are free to play. Both are in beta. None of us can afford to get addicted, but isn't the buzz a nice nostalgic thingy.
I'll likely opt for Mir 3.. Time to get downloading the client I guess Taoist here I come.
All these memories coming back! Resurrecting people in the mines and training a horde of zombies onto them.. Poisoning red kektals for 30 minutes in a corner until they died then looting the shit before people stood on it.
How do you turn on windowed mode? Cant find the option
Also, with regards to the skill trees. It's been 4 years and I can't remember - do you eventually learn ALL skills in each tree that's relevant to your class? So as a wizard will i get all fire, all ice, all wind.. or do i have to choose and specialise?

In the Mir 3 folder, find the file "mode" and change the 1 to a 0 and then save. That's it to get window mode.
I can't help you with the actual skill trees though, besides writing them up, it's not something I ever had to deal with, sure we have other wizzies that can help ya there.

Wizards eventually can get all the spells from each element, just like Taos can get all the spells from their elements. I don't think there's a specialisation thing, you're just limited to 4 sets of 12 hotkeys for casting.

You can also press Alt+Return to switch between modes while the game is active.

Ctrl+1,Ctrl+2,Ctrl+3 and Ctrl+4 swap between the 4 groups for quick change mid fight (if i remember right, or it might be Ctrl+F1 ect).
You get all the skills relative to your class, theres no specialisation - although its suggested that you get choices as assassin. All skills go to rank 3, and you get rank 4/5 via a quest that never existed in euro mir, but i think thats how you end up specialising more.
