Taming
Taming is a huge part of a wizards life. Because it’s such an essential ability it requires a lot of explanation. So here is my attempt to best to explain it all.
Can I tame it ?
A question asked far too many times when low level wizards meet a high level wizard. Well apart from the list here this is a simple rule of thumb; if you e-shock it and it goes red (mad) then you can tame it, if it gets paralysed (yellow) e-shock it a few more times and then hit it with your fireball or something if it’s red you can tame it.
Tactics of Taming
O.K for this I am going to use the BlackMaggot as an example as it is probably the first difficult mob you get to tame.
First of all there is using your sound to it’s maximum, by walking around the areas where you find them slowly and seeing if you can here them. You then always make sure they are as far off as possible when starting to tame them.
If you fail in that and it sees you then you have a couple of options. First of all there is running and running until the mob cannot sense you anymore and stops chasing you. This has the drawback of a load of other mobs could see you on the way. Next you could let it hit you, then you e-shock it and walk away one. If this has been practised you can keep doing this till it is paralysed.
Finally there is the running around looking for the mob not bothered if it finds you. This is o.k if you are good at the step back 1 method, or if you are high enough level to repulse the mob.
E-Shock
Level 0 E-Shock: allows you to tame 2 pets and can be activated at level 13
Level 1 E-Shock: allows you to tame 3 pets and can be gained at level 13
Level 2 E-Shock: allows you to tame 4 pets and can be gained at level 18
Level 3 E-Shock: allows you to tame 5 pets and can be gained at level 24
level 13

Found: Generally around BichonProvince near or in the towns
Summary: These are a fun first tame but that's about it.
BugBat
Found: StoneTemple, ConnectionCave and ZumaTemple
Summary: By the time you hunt in places you find these they of no use.
Yob
Found: BichonProvince
Summary: There are stronger mobs you can tame, there is little need to tame them
Deer
Found: BichonProvince
Summary: Weak mobs, not much use
HookingCat
Found: BichonProvince, SerpentValley and WoomyonWoods
Summary: Possibly a good start for taming

Summary: Useless, I’ve tested this and it definitely can not move.

Summary: Good once levelled, I didn’t tame these much so I need more info.

Summary: Good for confusing the mobs with 5 of them. Also make great cannon fodder in WT KR.
Centipede
Found: BugCave, ConnectionPath and Midlevel map
Summary: O.K this is the first pet where now as a wizard pets become almost essential. These are good in S1 and the Mines. Most wizards use them deep in the mines though.

GiantKeratoid
Found: MongchonProvince and Low level map
Summary: They are o.k, but a useless because they are so rare.

BlackMaggot
Found: BugCave, StoneTemple, ConnectionCave and ConnectionPath
Summary: Fast attack great with 5 of them. Good in S1, Mines and SabukSecretGate: ConnectionCave.
OmaWarrior
Found: WoomyonWoods and Low level map
Summary: Hit hard, but due to their slow attack speed they do not fair well when they are out numbered.

BugBatMaggot
Found: ZumaTemple, ConnectionCave and StoneTemple
Summary: Apparently it can be used for bizarre situations. Basically if a mob or an attacking opponent comes near it spews out normal BugBats, which normally just kill the BugBatMaggot.

Tongs
Found: BugCave and ConnectionPath
Summary: A Great pet, use it on commonly all the way to level 40. Mainly used in BugCave, but can be used in other places, as long as they are levelled they can handle most things, even if you have to use them slowly in the higher areas.

Found: ZumaTemple, High Level Cave, ConnectionCave and StoneTemple
Summary: Good pet because they can paralyse but other than that they are weak.

VenomSpider
Found: RedMoonValley and TreePath
Summary: This at the moment is the top of all pets. I am not sure how it would fair solo against a BES, but unlike a BES it can be found commonly. It doesn’t attack with DC so it is good against mobs with low AMC such as Woomas
