I'm level 36 and if I hunt anywhere harder than Oma Caves I generally lose gold, unless I get some mass drops or sub bosses. If I need money I just hunt in oma caves as the mobs barely hurt me and die fast. (Though I am a warrior so I don't burn potions to kill something with mana :3)
hunt where its difficult for you and hope you get a lucky couple of drops - you can try sell them in game if you have time.
I seem to be breaking even atm having just enough to buy pots and a couple of rt's but the lack of sub-bosses due to the farming by the huge influx of Chinese players is making it tough to get any money made...
Other than that if your really low - ebony trees, deer, spiders and cannible plants all give items you can sell at collector for between 20-200 gold a go.
i tend to make a small profit in treepath on my wiz, most other places i loose cash lvl 41 on 130k ish
apart from today when i went bug caves and as hardly anyone goes there i killed the ET's in every room apart from the first (like 6-8 total?) and made 70k from the shop crap they dropped

I hate you I'll be glad when i'm back on my wizard on Mir 3, as a warrior you cant kite or wall-hug bosses to death so I get mauled Can't kill ET and I saw 2 of them as well
Edit; I found an ET (respawned right behind me) and had 80 potions with me and a storm potion, so I thought what the hell. Going by the sound & visuals i'd say about 50-60% of my attacks were landing. 80 potions later, i'm dead, and he isn't. This game is bullshit sometimes. Can't even afford to buy any more. Where's the harm in displaying a HP bar so I can gauge the boss instead of wasting 80 pots.

On a lighter note, ive noticed money isnt that hard, i myself only buy MED pots, i wont buy large, its a waste if you work it out. I harvest everything, spiders ectect, sell everything. I have made enough to purchase 2 gale rings, im only 1 ingame with 2. Also have 100k as well nearly ^_^ pot moola!
if your skin, go oma cave for half hour = 15k at higher lvl, i didnt use no pots and i gained 15k

I'm on my way over to the oma caves now I think. Got very few potions left and i'm going to be needing them as I just discovered several tree path and serpent mine quests to complete ^_^ Soon to be level 38, so i can equip thick armor, 2 death gauntlets, learn thrusting, and look for a power axe!
little tip for you, dont go to SV, its rock solid, if u go there, go in group.
Tree path though, easy quests and fast cash! its like 8k per quest
i still have soem quests for serp vally mines, lol
I also went to WT last night, damn the mobs hurt there! wizzys have it so easy! hopefully the tables will turn at high lvl
Agreed! I went to the SV mines and had to kill ghouls and electro-zombies. It took me 2-3 potions per kill. I tried to enter WT a while back thinking it would be lower level like in Mir 3 and got steamrolled.
And I agree on the wizard thing too. I can't wait to get back to my wizard on Mir 3, though the sub bosses on that game actually chase you at the speed of light as opposed to the normal monster speed like on Mir 2 I hate being a warrior and not being able to kill ET or things like that when the other classes can.. even with 80 hp potions.
in a sick sence, i like it that gold is low, It means there wont be stupidly over priced items like 100mill for a j mace... lets be honist, no 1 will get 100mill fast with the gold like this. That is one good aspect

If these scripts are out there again that have been talked about and screenied in use, I think that kind of stupidly inflated figure will be very quickly be reached and that the game will be seriously lopsided by the cheats as GNs Mir 2 was in many ways in the past.

lol wow, i dont have enough time to play wow, all i can do is raid heroic naxx or uldar, i dont have 5 hours in one sitting to play >_< as i have a new 6 week little daughter to feed and keep happy!! lol at least on mir i can come on and get that 0.01% i love the fact there is no lvl cap... love it

Yeh, i'm not sure how long WoW will last... i've got 10 days free from a guy in work... i was explaining Mir to him and he wasn't impressed... i was telling him about Boss Mob stealing guilds etc... and that a raid is a bit 'safe' for my liking... either way, he talked me into returning.
