The small installer copies the base files for the Horizons game and then connects to the patch server to download all required game files (one file at a time). This works well for unreliable connections, but may take longer to install then the full Game Download.

*If you like to live on the cutting edge, this BETA version of the BitTorrent installer is for you. It includes peer-to-peer download technology to make your download super fast. Just download this installer and run, no separate BitTorrent client is needed - it will connect to the peer-to-peer network and then download the full Horizons installer to your desktop. Please report any problems, suggestions and your download time to support@istaria.com. Make sure to indicate that you are running the BETA version of the BT installer.



Once your download is complete, run the downloaded file and follow the prompts required to install Horizons: Empire of Istaria.

After installation is complete, you must create a Free Trial account which is required to play the game.
