WWE RAW Opener:
At the start of RAW, Lilian Garcia asked the crowd to welcome the new World Heavyweight Champion... Randy Orton! With that, Evolution's music hit in the arena and Randy Orton made his way out to the ring as the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment! Ballons and ticker tape fell from the ceiling as Orton got on the ropes and held the title high. They show the front page of the Toronto Sun, and a picture of Orton with the gold made the front page. Orton got on the mic, and was met with a mixed reaction from the crowd, and then a small "Randy" chant broke out. Orton said he is hearing his name now, but last night it was a different story, they thought he was in over his head, they thought he hadn't earned his stripes, let alone survive the crossface and the sharpshooter, but yet, he is here standing before you the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history! Orton said he has a favor to ask, he wants all the 24 year old males to stand up. Orton said to take a good look, because this is what the average 24 year old male looks like. Orton told them all to stand up again, take off your shirts and lets have another look shall we. Orton said to look at that, that is disturbing. The fans then began to chant "you suck" towards Orton, as he said that is the average shape of the 24 year old male. Orton said that makes what he has accomplished even more impressive. Not only is he better looking, he is just plain better. A lot of people think that Orton winning last night was a fluke, but it was destiny! We are then shown a video package highlighting the accomplishments of Orton since he arrived in the WWE. Orton said he did what nobody else could do, he beat Chris Benoit, 1-2-3, sure he is a little banged up, and it has taken all his strength to come out here, but that is the kind of champion that he is. There have been many champions before him, but he is unlike all the others, he is Randy Orton. Orton then repeated that statement which was met with boos from the crowd. Orton said to get used to this sight, get used to who stands before you, the suit, the beautiful face, because the Randy Orton era has only just begun!
The music of Chris Benoit then hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring and last night, these two men shook hands after Orton won the gold. Benoit got on the mic and was met with the crowd chanting his name. Benoit said that before the Orton era begins, he wants to let him know, that is his first title defense is going to be against him! Orton said that he heard about the rematch clause, give him a few weeks to heal up, and he will beat him again! Benoit said Orton does not get it. Benoit just came from Bischoff's office, and he isn't waiting weeks, hell he isn't waiting another day! Because tonight, in this ring, it's going to be Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title! Orton had a look of frustration on his face as Benoit left the ring to a huge ovation!

Lita started to leave but Coach asked her what is going through her mind right now? Lita said that she just wants to be left alone and then she went into the women's locker room where the WWE Divas were there with a surprise for Lita, saying congratulations to Lita and Kane. Trish said that they wanted to turn her frown upside down, so they decided to throw her a bridal shower. Molly said that since Lita likes to sleep around so much, here's something that she could really use. First, there is birth control pills and let's not forget the condoms! The WWE Divas then sang "Trojan Man, Trojan Man" and then Gail Kim gave Lita a picture of her and Kane's first kiss. They are obviously in love. They don't have to worry about the baby because here's what it'll look like. Gail held up a picture of a deformed baby. Trish said that they saved the best for last and Jazz brought out a vibrator for those long cold nights when Kane is out of town. Trish said that Lita can thank them now. Lita just looked at the Divas with a look of anger and Trish followed her out of the room, saying that they tried real hard, besides she forgot her condoms. Trish then signaled for Tyson to pick Victoria up and he did just that, lifting Victoria up over his head and then a strange woman came out to the ring and gave Tyson a chop block to knock him down. The 'woman' then turned and walked away as Victoria looked intimidated.

Kane got out of the ring and grabbed a mic and forced Lita into the ring. Kane held onto Lita and he said that Lita would probably think that he'd be angry at what just happened. But he's not. Kane laughed and said that he can see what kind of relationship this is going to be and he is going to enjoy it. And nothing can upset Kane tonight because next week right here, live on RAW, they are getting married! And later that night, they'll consummate their marriage. Lita responded with a hard slap to the face of Kane and Kane said oh yeah, that's the way he likes it. It's going to be a hell of a honeymoon!
WWE RAW Diva Search:
The Coach was shown with the RAW Diva Search Girls and we are about to find out who will be voted off tonight. Will it be Joy, Amy, Carmella, Maria, Tracie, Christy or Michelle? Before we get to that, they asked each Diva if they could vote off a fellow contestant, who would they vote off and why?
Michelle: Carmella for the simple reason that she is extremely busy and she is just in it to win another contract and not make it a career with the WWE.
Christy: Carmella, only because she doesn't want it and all the rest of the girls do.
Maria: Carmella, just because she doesn't seem to put as much effort into each thing. She kind of reminds everyone of a dish rag and how she acts and everything. She doesn't have the enthusiasm.
Tracie: Carmella, because she does not feel as excited and wants this as much as every one of the Divas. I really want this and I have all the time and strategy to do it, I only wish she did too.
Carmella: Joy. I hate this because I don't want to say anything negative but just because she is married and has babies and it would be really hard to find the time to do this for a full commitment.
Amy: Carmella, because she doesn't really want to be here. She's made fun of the wrestlers, laughed at all the tests to prove themselves to the audience.
Joy: Carmella, because she hasn't been a team player. We love having her around and she's a beautiful asset to the team but she wasn't there for Diva Dodgeball and we had to do it without her.
Now that we know who the contestants want off, let's find out who the audience did vote off. And the diva going home tonight is Michelle. Stay tuned, much more from the Divas live later on tonight.

WWE RAW Diva Search:
The Coach was shown in the arena and he said that it's now time to vote for your favorite Diva and he brought out the Divas in their bikinis! We'll be down to five Divas next week in Anaheim.
Next week on RAW:
Who will be the World Heavyweight Champion by next week? Randy Orton or Chris Benoit after tonight's match? The biggest thing next week on RAW is the Wedding with Kane and Lita!
Backstage:
Randy Orton was shown in the backstage area and Triple H showed up and asked Randy if he saw that? Batista killed Jericho. That was awesome. Triple H asked Randy if he's all right? Triple H then said he knows what Randy is feeling. Last night was the biggest night of his life, he became the World Heavyweight Champion and Chris Benoit is breathing down his neck and he feels it's going to slip through his fingers. It's natural. But does he understand what being the World Heavyweight Champion means? Last night, he became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history. Does he understand what that means? Ric Flair didn't win his first World Title until he was 31 or something. Guys like Dave Batista would give their arm to get a shot at that Championship and last night, Randy Orton did what nobody could do. He beat Chris Benoit in the middle of that ring. You want to know how you deal with tonight? You go out there and you be Randy Orton. You be the guy that got you where you are. You rely on that talent and ability and what brought you to the dance. And you know what brought you to the dance? Evolution. So you go out there tonight and be Randy Orton. Put out all that talent and ability and let Evolution take care of the rest. Triple H told Randy that there is no problem because Evolution is his solution. Go out there tonight and make history by beating Benoit for the second night in a row. And when it's over, Evolution is going to be in the ring with him and they are going to celebrate like only Evolution can.
Unforgiven Theme Song:
"Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva is the official theme song for Unforgiven and that CD is available tomorrow!

Chris then pulled Randy away from the ropes and covered him for a two count.
Chris Benoit went for the sharpshooter on Randy Orton but Randy used his leg strength to get out of it and then Randy got up only to get pulled right back down to the mat and Chris went for the sharpshooter once again but Randy bailed out of the ring. Chris Benoit went for a tope but Randy moved and he saw him move so Chris Benoit stopped short and then went to the ring apron and nailed Randy with a drop kick to send Randy down to the arena floor. The referee started the count on both men and Benoit rolled in and out of the ring to break the count and then he slammed Randy Orton into the security wall and nailed him with a hard chop. Chris Benoit then lifted Randy Orton up and gave him a knee breaker into the steel steps and that left Randy Orton squirming around on the arena floor in pain as the show cut to a commercial break.
Coming off the commercial break, Chris Benoit had Randy Orton in the sharpshooter and Randy looked close to tapping out but Randy struggled to get to the ropes and was finally able to grab the ropes to break the hold. Chris then lifted Randy up off the mat and knocked him right back down with a forearm to the head.
Chris Benoit went to the ring apron and he tried to suplex Randy from the inside of the ring to the arena floor but Randy blocked it and gave Chris an uppercut and then a drop kick to send Chris Benoit into the security wall. Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton
The Aftermath:
Ric Flair and Triple H got in the ring and hugged Randy Orton as Batista grabbed Chris Benoit on the outside of the ring and slammed him into the steel steps. Batista got in the ring as well and he hoisted Randy Orton up on his shoulders and held him high in the air as Ric Flair and Triple H celebrated Randy Orton's title victory. Triple H gave Randy Orton the thumbs up and he smiled and then he wiped the smile off his face and gave him the thumbs down and Batista dropped back to slam Randy Orton down to the mat and then Triple H hammered away on Randy Orton with a number of right hands and then Flair gave Orton some right hands followed by some blows by Batista. Batista and Ric Flair held onto Randy Orton and Triple H grabbed the World Championship and talked trash, holding the World Championship in Orton's face. Triple H smacked Randy Orton around and then he showed him the World Title and laid into him with a hard shot to the head with the belt. Randy Orton was bloodied up as a result and Triple H went over and pounded away on Randy Orton some more and you could hear Batista saying that Orton is nothing without Evolution. Triple H picked Randy up and gave him to Batista who planted Randy Orton with the sit down power bomb. Flair then stomped away on Orton and then Triple H planted Randy with the Pedigree and Triple H grabbed the World Title and said that this is him, this is Evolution. Copps, which holds 17,500 for hockey, was tarped off with a maximum of 5,000 in attendance, which made for a quiet atmosphere at times.
VELOCITY
(1) Heidenreich beat Funaki.: Heidenreich looked sloppy. Funaki got a surprisingly decent pop but Heidenreich wouldn't sell for him. Heidenreich ended it at about the 3 minute mark with a sidewalk slam
(2) Booker T beat Shannon Moore. Big pop for Booker T in this match. Booker opened with a variety of kicks. Moore took control and tried to end it with a twist of fate, which he of course missed. Booker ended it with a bookend at about the 4 minute mark.
(3) Mark Jindrak beat Mabel Starr (sp?) There was very little reaction to this match. Both had little offensive moves beyond your standard punches and kicks. Jindrak thankfully ended the pain with a decent looking back suplex which he turned into a sidewalk slam
(4) Charlee Haas beat Akio Both received a decent pop. Akio was surprisingly sloppy looking throughout. He worked Haas leg and eventually took Haas down with a good looking missile drop kick from the top rope. Haas kicked out and won the match with a turn around cross body off of the top rope.
(5) Billy "Ass Man" Gunn beat Doug Basham (w/Danny Basham). Gunn didn't get the pop he seems to get in some house shows. Gunn goes on the offensive leading to the proverbial Basham switch. The biggest pop for the Velocity show came with a head on collision which of course led to the dramatic 8 count. Gunn finished off with A.J. Styles's "Styles Clash" after a second attempt at a switch between the twins.
SMACKDOWN
Tazz got a nice pop, but I expected much more.
Opening Segment:
JBL came out (after about four minutes of music) in one of the best visuals for TV. He was wearing a massive neck brace with his 10 gallon hat perched about 1 foot off of his head. It took him and Orlando 5 minutes to get to the ring. He had a decent interview where he addressed not pinning the Undertaker much to his dismay but that was all the Dead Man's fault. He accused the Undertaker of not passing the torch and said, "the Undertaker is very mean." One of the best lines came when he not only complained about being slammed into the car and the pain, but of the heat of the hood which burned him. He said the Undertaker would never get a rematch. Along the way he slammed Canada for not going to Iraq and got his cheap heat. Of course the led to the Undertaker coming out to the biggest pop of the night. JBL comically escaped with help from Jordan, but Orlando returned to help his boss. One punch and a choke slam later, the Undertaker was left with the belt in the ring. This ? hour segment (I kid you not and pray it will be edited by at least 1/2 ) was over. IT was funny, but way too long.
(1) Spike Dudley beat Scotty 2 Hotty to retain the Cruiserweight Title. Spike was quickly thrown over the top to the floor. Scotty quickly went for the worm but was stopped by Bubba. After some offense from Spike he then went up top for the double stomp but missed it. After some distraction and a quick counter by Spike he finished it with his top rope bulldog. The triple team then ensued ending with Spike nailing Scotty in the head with the belt.
Raw Recap
John Cena Interview: This was to hype next week's second match between him and Booker T. Spike got involved and said that Cena had no gold to back his words. Spike then landed a low blow, which then led to a beatdown by all three Dudley's and Spike saying, "Can you see me now?"
(2) Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Jamie Noble beat Billy Kidman & Paul London in a non title match. The match started quickly with London and Noble putting a display of nice technical wrestling and counter wrestling. London then took it to both men before Chavo took control. Chavo missed a weak looking springing leg drop. Kidman finally gets in the match to a nice pop and quickly pulled off an amazing looking fireman's carry into a neckbreaker on Noble. Kidman goes up looking for the Shooting Star but is knocked out of the ring. Chavo then scores the pin after reversing a pinfall attempt by London and by holding the ropes. A very good eight minute match, but the crowd was pretty quiet for this match.
Teddy long announces that Cena will fight D-Von later on.
Torrie, Jackie and Norma Lee come out and shoot t-shirts in a segment that seemed to be taped. It was a complete waste of time but it resulted in the 2nd biggest pop of the night thus far (hence why we have a diva search... sigh)
Interview Segment Two: Eddie Guerrero Comes to the ring to a massive pop. He calls out Angle who get the "You Suck" chants. He challenges Angle to a match tonight but Kurt refused saying why when he beat Eddie at SummerSlam. Eddie agrees that he was outwrestled for the first time he can remember, but reminds Kurt he holds a pinfall on him from WMXX. He says he respects Kurt and says that they are the only two that love the business. He wants to shake Kurt's hand but Kurt says you can't trust a cheat and liar. After about a 5 minute delay Angle agrees, and of course Eddie attacks him, leading to Luther storming the ring. Before the two can take on Eddie, Rey Mysterio comes to the ring and cleans house. Again, this was entertaining, but 1 and ? hours in, and we have 2 matches.
(3) John Cena beat D-Von with Booker calling the match at ringside. Cena comes out to a big pop. The match opens in typical brawling style. D-Von gains control but can't string more than 2 moves together without Cena taking back control. About 5 minutes in the match is over with an FU from Cena, which led to a stare down with Booker. A short and disappointing match.
(4) Rob Van Dam beat Renee Dupree. This was probably the best match of the night. Both start off with pinning moves back and forth, which ends with a good ovation. Renee took control and worked on submission (rest) holds. RVD counters with a heel kick and a superkick which led to a running moonsault. The best move of the night came with a beautiful German suplex by RVD on Renee which he held for a two count. It looked a lot more high impact than Angle's version. RVD then went for the rolling thunder but Dupree got his legs up. After some brief offense by Dupree Rob went to the top but was caught by Dupree in a big superplex. Dupee then did his dance, which allowed RVD to recover and end the match with the Five Star Frog Splash. After the match RVD was attacked by Suzuki who came out with a female manager. After some brawling moves Suzuki (at least who I think he is) put a claw on RVD and then through him backwards into the mat to KO him. A very entertaining ten minute match and a nice twist at the end.
Teddy Long Makes a "Major Announcement." Teddy comes to the ring and shows a promo of a superstar he has resigned. Of course it is the Big Show. We see a video of some of the Big Shows moments from years past. He also announces the 2nd match between Booker and Cena for next week and that Heidenreich will get his tryout next week.
(5) Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio beat Kurt Angle & Luther. Surprisingly, this match didn't get the response that it should have. It was a good match, but by no means a classic, or up to the standards of either Eddie or Angle. The match begins with Luther beating down on Eddie. Eddie regained control and brought in Rey. Eddie does a nice spot where he picks up his partner in what appears to be an atomic drop and throws him into Luther so that Mysterio hit a drop kick. Luther quickly regains control of the smaller Rey and Luther got out of the ring (thank God as he is a horrible looking worker). Angle gets some brief offense in before Rey took control with a head scissors. Eddie is tagged in and quickly begins to pummel Kurt. Eddie went for his 3 suplex combo but is denied the third by Luther. Luther comes in, does some kicks and leaves us again. Angle then begins to go after Eddie's leg. Luther will do the same, with Eddie selling the leg lock as though he was shot. This goes on for about 5 minutes until Angle decides to show us a different move with the overhead belly to belly suplex. Angle and Eddie eventually collide heads, which will allow Rey into the match. Rey hit 3 very nice flying moves (head scissors, flying sitdown etc.) before the ref is taken out by Luther accidentally. Rey then hit a 619 on Angle, who was outside of the ring. Rey flew around the post to hit this impressive looking move. Rey sets Luther up for the regular 619 but as he spins Angle plastered him with a steel chair. Eddie finds a chair and chases out Angle to the back. Luther goes for the powerbomb (once he figured out where the camera was) but Eddie returns in time to hit the low blow. Eddie is tagged in and hits his 3 suplexes. Rey then hits the 619 allowing Eddie to hit the frog splash (once Luther moved 2-3 times to get into position) for the pin.
After the match Kurt returns out and has a bucket of paint, which he pours on Eddie's car, much to the dismay of Eddie. This is where the taping will end. After the show, we got ten minutes of Eddie looking upset and a bizarre bit where Eddie and Rey spread paint across each other's chests. Both leave and so do the few remaining fans.
Biggest pops:
1. Undertaker
2. Eddie Guerrero
3. Angle
4. Divas
5. RVD
Overall: There were three good matches but the segments were too long. It didn't help that the crowd was so small. I don't expect the WWE back to Hamilton for a while!
We have been told that over the past several weeks or so, WWE has bought out Scott Steiner's contract and he is now completely done with the company.
WWE had plans to bring him back was those were scrapped due to injuries among other things.
So as of now, Scott Steiner is finished with WWE.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Steve Austin and ex-girlfriend Tess Broussard were involved in another incident earlier this month.
Austin and business manager George Vrabeck brought Broussard to California, with the intentions of presenting her with a $1.5 million check. In exchange for the check, Broussard would move out of Austin's life and agree not to pursue legal ramifications for any past incidents.
"I'm not a rocket scientist," Austin told The Times "But I knew I had to get out of this relationship....The plan was to go out, have a nice steak, hand [Broussard] a check and get on with my life."
After eating dinner at Mastro's Steakhouse, the two went to meet Vrabeck. However, Broussard's mood changed. Austin's former girlfriend claimed that they were not breaking up, since they had a wonderful night. She started getting irate.
Broussard then got on top of a table and tried to stab Austin with a steak knife. Everyone went down in a scuffle, before Austin's security guard was able to handcuff Broussard. Vrabeck was cut in his arm, while Austin banged his head.
Softcore **** actress, Broussard, is now claiming a lawsuit worth $10 million has been fired against Austin for luring her to the restaurant to stage an assault. The lawsuit also brings up one of the domestic abuse incidents from Texas.
Tess' story claims that Austin threw her back into her chair, before the guard came and knocked her down. She then saw Vrabeck stabbing himself, to the point where he started bleeding. The guard then said "I saw you stab him," indicating that she'd been set up.
More comments from Broussard included, "[Austin] turned into another character — mean, horrible, violent and emotionally abusive. He drank every night, beginning at 6 p.m. until he would pass out around 1 a.m." When it was noted that Austin claimed she had a problem with medication, she responded, "He got me started on pills. He'd open my mouth like an animal and stick the pills in my mouth. He said, if I'm taking them, you're taking them too."
On the subject of why they keep seeing each other, Broussard offered, "I was naive. He'd apologize and say he'd change and go to counseling, but he never did. He told me I was his soul mate, so I kept going back and really believed in the relationship. But it was a lot of empty promises." Austin stated, "I kept seeing her because, as kooky as she was, I still loved her. I feel like I've been a pawn on the chessboard. I was too trusting and too nice, and that's what I'll have to live with."
Austin currently lives in Los Angeles with Diamond Dallas Page, and will be seen on the screen in Adam Sandler's "The Longest Yard."

There is talk that if the Minnesota Vikings suggest it, Brock Lesnar will head over to NFL Europe next season for experience. This seems to be the most likely scenario for Lesnar as of right now from what sources say.
When Vince McMahon first found out that Lesnar was serious about leaving WWE and trying football, Vince had wanted to call a huge press conference to make a big deal about the situation, though Lesnar refused, thinking that nobody would take him seriously after that and that it would just be a publicity stunt by WWE.

A little about the Montreal Screwjob for those who dont know.
The Montreal Screwjob is professional wrestling parlance for an incident that took place November 9, 1997, during a match for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight title between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in Montreal, Canada.
In October 1996, Bret Hart signed an unprecedented 20-year contract with the WWF after considering a very lucrative offer from World Championship Wrestling. The contract called for him to wrestle three more years and then complete his career in a behind-the-scenes position. Both sides felt that it was an expression of Hart's loyalty to the WWF and its loyalty to him.
However, by the middle of 1997, the WWF was in serious financial straits. Owner Vince McMahon informed Hart that he wished to withdraw from the contract and encouraged him to again seek employment with WCW. At this time, Bret was still WWF World champion.
As part of his contract, Hart had creative control over his character in the last days of his WWF tenure. He had two major caveats: he would not lose the WWF World title to Shawn Michaels, and he would not lose it in his home country of Canada. The legitimate feud between Hart and Michaels meant that neither man was willing to lose face to the other, but they agreed to work together for the sake of the business. McMahon began seeking a way to transition the title off of Hart.
Of course, Hart took immediate issue with the idea that he would lose the title to Michaels, in Montreal, at Survivor Series. He did not believe that Michaels would offer him a loss in return, and moreover he did not want to lose to Michaels in Canada. On November 1, Hart finally agreed to a contract with WCW, and was set to leave the WWF by the end of the year. McMahon tentatively agreed to work the match in Montreal with a planned disqualification finish, and told Hart he would lose the title the next month in Massachusetts. After much negotiation, Hart agreed to this plan.
However, in Montreal, things went a bit differently. Hart was aware of the possibility of a double-cross, and reportedly went as far as asking referee Earl Hebner to swear an oath that he would not participate in such an incident. The match script given to Hart detailed the planned disqualification finish.
During the match, Hart allowed Michaels to place him in the Sharpshooter, his famous finishing hold. Michaels then gave Hart his foot to reverse the hold, but McMahon stood up at ringside and ordered the timekeeper to "Ring the ****ing bell!" Hebner signalled for the nonexistent submission and Michaels was awarded the title. This is an extreme example of a screwjob (hence the term Montreal Screwjob) as well as a shoot event.
Hart was immediately outraged. He stood in the ring and spit at McMahon, hitting him in the face. He also destroyed several television monitors before climbing the turnbuckles and signing the letters "WCW" to the crowd. Backstage, he and McMahon had a physical confrontation in which he punched McMahon hard enough to break McMahon's jaw.
It was apparently the first double-cross in the modern age. In the days to follow, Hart left for WCW, and McMahon claimed he could not trust Bret with the title, fearing he would show up on the competition's television show with the WWF World title belt. McMahon had reason to fear this; earlier in the WWF/WCW rivalry, the WWF women's champion, Debra Miceli (wrestling as Madusa), showed up on WCW Monday Nitro with the championship belt. Miceli proceeded to throw the WWF belt in a trash can on live TV, imitating a well-publicized act by heavyweight boxer Riddick Bowe. Michaels claimed innocence but several years later admitted that he too had been in on the fix, as had apparently everyone except Hart's family and close friends backstage.
It is important to note that some observers hold the opinion that the Montreal incident was in fact a work, not a shoot, and that Vince McMahon, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels all conspired to generate controversy and interest in the product by staging it. However, given the enmity between Hart and McMahon which persisted for several years, as well as Michaels' confession of his role, this seems unlikely at best.
Its been rumoured he has been in talks with WWE about returning in a non-wrestling role, as his injuries prevent him from being able to wrestle properly ever again.
Also, ill try to find a video of the Montreal Screwjob for every1 to see.
Well i found a pic of the Montreal Screwjob, but cant find a video as of yet, I used to have 1 before I had to format my PC.
The pic shows referee Earl Hebner calling for the bell, even though Bret is not tapping out. In the video, just as the bell rings Bret reverses the Sharpshooter, like he was supposed to.
