ok so been a long term hay fever sufferer, i saw these advertised on telly and though `hmmm 15 quid` but they wont work?
so i looked on the net and found about 90% of folks who used this gets good results.
so i got one and been using it about 4 days now but suposedly takes about a week to start working, all it is is 2 probes you stick up your nose and one wavelenth promotes increased blood flow and the other suppresses the cells that release histamine and reduces inflamation.
this sounds a bit like it could be bollox how can 2 red lights do this?
does it work like a placebo?
if it relives me of any symtoms it will be money well spent.
I hope they do work for you hun, but I'm sceptical because I do think it is a placebo but then popping pills can also be a placebo too, so I hope it works and we all know it's just an excuse so you don't have to cut the grass
A couple years ago i had a reaction to god knows what, i came up in whelts and it really scared me, because have never suffered from any type of allergy.
I used Piriton, and whatever reaction I had was gone within 2 days. Could be a placebo effect but i think it did do the trick.
So if anyone does have hay fever or any type of allergy i would recommend that. Of course i'm not a doctor, but i would suggest trying it for a day or two otherwise, there is no alternative but to go to your GP and get some proper professional advice
ok its been a bit over 2 weeks now and tbh i much better than i usually do
so im now using 85p hayfever tabs from asda, optrex eye drops and that beeper as apose to expensive prescribed tabs and eye drops and i feel so much better.
is it because im using new tablets?
the pollen count this year is lower than last?
or this beeper really does work?
well i dunno but something is working, yes im still getting symtoms but nothing like im used to.
looks like it has to be used regular cos i was on a 12 hour shift on thursday night and was getting scratchy around 5am (forgot to do it at 2am) but when i used it i was ok for bed
well its been little over 3 weeks and what can i say.....apart from....
oh my fooking god, where has my hay fever gone
im not using eye drops half as much now, im not sniffling or yakking cos of my itchy throat and no wheezing
cant recomend these things enough now, im a different person, hay fever used to get me down all the time but now its gone, vanished kapput
