I've always found meatloaf to be quite bland, so when I was making one a couple of weeks back, I hunted the net high and low to find a really nice version and I did actually find one which turned out gorgeous and it was a Delia Smith recipe of all things.
American meatloaf is way better than UK and European versions, they have a knack with these carbo heavy things and manage to get the most of the flavours out of them.
