Recently I've been out drinking with friends a lot, to the point that I've noticeably put on quite a bit of weight. Trouble is its all going straight to my belly, and I hate it!!
So for a while now I'm gonna stop drinking alcohol, and drink less coke and milk. Sticking to water should help ![]() What I'm finding though is that when I'm hungry, there aren't many good not fattening snacky foods I eat. But then, I don't really know myself what is healthy and what isn't! Essentially, I'm looking for some food that lasts a while (ie longer than fruit) that I can buy tons and tons of, and snack on it when I'm browsing the web and such without having to worry about becoming a fat bastard. Does such a food exist? |

i eat cereal alot, maybe u should try that ^^
i dunno if its healthy or not i just like the taste of it ![]() dried strawberrys with those bran flake things... its nice!! and milk, i love milk soooo much especially warm milk cos it makes all the flakes softer and also its all warm in my tummy ^^ |

i get tins of fruit (fruit cocktail/pear and peach slices/pineapple chunks etc..) 20p each so not really expensive, i usually get about 10-20 a week and eat them at my leisure. just open the tin and eat straight out of it with a spoon. so then you can just throw the tin away after use, no mess and fuss.
also get a tin of evaporated milk and when you open a tin of fruit drink a bit of the juice out of it and put a size able amount of the milk in, mixes lovely with the juice and tastes awesome. |

well, i dont know what you look like Tesl, but i wanna say; dont worry how other people see you, tesl, just as long as YOU are happy, thats what counts ^_^
i realised this too, i just wanted to look good to please others... but i realise, the only person i need to please is myself. i wanted to lose abit of weight so that i am happy! not because other people will think "oh, she looks thin like a little kitten, thats nice" ^^ after all, you have quite a nice personality. you are knowledgable and nice, but also a confident attitude at the same time ^^ although, sorry to be honest, but you come accross a bit "big headed" sometimes but, its all good, your still cool ^_^ anyway, all im saying is, dont try to change how you are to impress other people, just do what you feel like! |
