Quake 4
Has gone gold and will ship on October 18th for the PC, ID has announced.
Not many games have such a cult following as the Quake franchise and ID are looking set to draw even more players into its legions of fans when game number 4 is released in just a few weeks time.
Taking a step back in time the game continues from the storyline in Quake II although thats not to say that elements of Quake III Arena wont be involved.
The game is going back to its roots with its continuation of the Quake II storyline and gameplay, although its taking a lot from Quake III for its multiplayer modes, the bottom line though, expect plenty of fragging, rocket jumping and railgun'ing in around two weeks time.
