THIS IS ONLY FOR MODS ON THE HALF LIFE 2 "SOURCE" ENGINE

Big shock this week as Samurai Legends has suspended development, since their team of university students have now graduated and do not have the time to fix some major bugs not found in the first round of testing.

Conflict in Nam a promising new mod based arount the Vietnam conflict has released some media screenshots this week.

No more room in hell has posted some media screenshots of 1 of their new zombie models.

Insurgency has posted some new images. They look very promising, if not PC killers. This mod is easily the most exciting in known development. Boasting to be like Battlefield 2, only with less vehicles, less bugs but more realism. 1 to watch. PC Gamer in depth preview

Counter Strike:Source is expecting an immidiate update soon, which will include an SAS character model.

Perfect Dark a remake of the classic N64 mod has release some more media including team select menus.

Science of Horror mod has been announced, if the artwork is anything to go by, this isent gonna be a mod for the kiddies.

This is the one ive been w8in for, the developers promised a totally immersive single player. And with xbox live I can kill ppl round the world, I think its an out and out better outcome that rare went to xbox.

Do they actaully have fully working Half LIfe 2 multiplayer mods up and running yet?

there are some that are in public beta, like plan of attack. But, like u will know, they released the source code so late that many teams either dissolved or were set back heavily and thats why you are now only starting to see mods bleed out screenshots and the like.

2 and a half months is a long time to wait for a company to release some source code for modders to play with.

theres some quality mods in the making though by the looks of it, as Valve have always had a REALLY dedicated mod community, mainly due to the hl and now the source engine being so moddable.
