Default What sound settings should i have for my games?

Hi all..

I want to have a cutting edge yet thumpy sound from my speakers. I have some Logitech Z3 speakers with 80 RMS peak and 40 RMS normal. With a gigantic sub wuffer the size of my head , which i have set up on 1 of my dads metal speaker stands he got from some hi-fi show. (my dads hi fi kit is all seperates and he knows his stuff)

My soundcard is a Creative SB Audigy LS with Hardware EAX 2.

What i really want to know is what should my Equalizer should look like for games. Not every1 will know what a good combo is, but if you could attach a pic of what you have if you feel its good, ill try it with mine.

And before you say it, i have been tweaking it, but i just cant find what im looking for.

attached is a pic of what its set at atm

Set your EAX to Rock or Metal its a nice mix between base and other instruments.

And please don't tell me that the statement from above means you attached a sub woofer to a stand

its either that or my dads ears burst in the room below me, because otherwise it would have to go on

a) a wooden floor
b) a plywood wooden desk on a wooden floor.

its hell without it, it just vibrates like a lesb.....

Hmmm, well any kind of wood isn't good for a Sub woofer either.
Could you not get a rug or even get a piece of a carpet somewhere to put it underneath it. Coz really sub woofers aren't meant to be on stands.

Also don't stick it on any EAX setting that is RnB or Rap or such that involces high amounts of base. Did that once and my room sounded like a thunder storm when some1 fired an awp on CS.
