ManHunt - Uncut

Manhunt Uncut...

after see'ing all this crap about Manhunt should be banned blablabla, i have it on PC, had it for ages but just seemed so tame & repetitive to me, so thought id get hold of Manhunt on PS2, maybe its more fun (most games are on PS2 then PC

) and i came across ManHunt Uncut version, guessing this 1 is already banned in the UK, but anyone actually have it & is it much worse then the retail version?

I got my copy of Manhunt last Christmas for Ps2 and I don't think it has any difference to the other versions, as to say....I don't think it can get anymore uncut!
I don't think there is an uncut version to put it straight.

yet again a game gets blamed for some1 dieing

millions of so called violent games are played every single day yet they get blamed :teach: i played thrill kill on ps1 that was banned but it did not make me want 2 go and kill anybody its only a game peeps get real

lol yea, u played Thrill Kill recently? its like really really really lame compaired to some of the mildest Beat Em Ups out now, hell... even Tekken is more violent lol

tekken is not more violent than thrill kill but things like mortal combat can be

thrill kill is just lame now tho, yea i guess tekken was alil far lol,
but Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is much much more violent/gorey then ThrillKIll,cant beleive TK was banned lol

I played Thrill Kill too, i didn't understand why it was banned, because it seemed tame at the time to me.

Censorship seems to be getting more lax these days. We seem to be able to tolerate more apart from thos who take things a little to far.

LoL, have you not realised the accusations of people dying due to the influence from a game for eg. Man Hunt. LoLz I think this is a scapegoat excuse, also people dying is all under 18! And it clearly says on the case 18+, and stupid kids still go out and buy it and their parents unrealising that they are underaged. It should be the parents fault, banning a "GAME" is the most stupidist thing I ever heard next to Mc Donalds is the blame for fat people, when its the fault of the person themselves.

lol, quite sick but isnt exactly "OMG I DONT BELEIVE IT"

Yep Rockstar, same sort of graphics and sounds as GTA but with some minor tweaks and its sort of the graphics you can expect in San Andreas, it was a sick game the story is kind of like 'Running Man' with Lional Starkweather making it look to the press like Jame Earl Cash was executed and then he directs you through the game and you have to kill alot of people in different ways to get to certain places and your constantly being monitered by Starkweathers...it also has a pretty cool final boss, i won't spoil it..I thought it was rather good but its one of them games you don't go back to for a long time after completing it.

i love the fact about how after you've completed it once u can then choose which "scene's" (levels) you want to go back to, so if you havent played for ages you can choose your favourite level to play whenever you want.

The Uncut version is the same as the original release for the PS2. It was released with a new name as a advertising ploy& they are allowed to do that since its in their terms.

I didnt find the game sick mind , quite enjoyed it really which cant be said for alot of the other ones out there. I dont see it as the kind of game that would influence me though , only game that really has done was GT3 , as it was educational while being fun.

Thrill Kill also owned at the time

I'ld think Manhunt uncut would have some bonus lvls or something?

As for banning the game; that's a load of crap! It's the parents fault! They let their kids watch violent programs on the tv, you know, the regional news and stuff like that... And they leave their guns just laying around. What do they think's gonna happen? If anything; I saw ban guns! If ya wanna kill someone, do it the old fasioned way - with a sword!!

On a related note; in the arcade one of the games is buggy... won't let me goto the next level even though my points are damned higher than the target score!!! Can't remember which game, but I mad a post about it in the bugs section...
