Actually, I think I may just have to go and have a play later on again.
NWN is another great game, but yah it's a diferent set up from this.
With a gladiator, just set up some of those lovely attack and hard hit combo moves and your character does it all for you.
got my copy this mornin and havent rly had a chance to get into it yet gonna sit down tonite and have a blast on it, i played for luike half an hour and got the feel of it and all the signs point to a great game, have to say havent been this excited with a game in ages so i hope it is as good as what i think it will be think im goin for the gladiator class to begin with, tried the dark elf earlier and didnt think it was nethin special so goin for good old fashioned gladiator
been playin it a good few hours now and really enjoyin it, it is a fantastic game and would recommend it to ne1....not rly figured out how to use special moves or nethin yet but just lvln up is a breathe of fresh air lvl 7 gladiator now and keep dieing to this minotour ah yeah and im hating those shamen goblins who keep spawnin more and more lol but other than that just enjoyin lvln up and travellin round not rly done alot of the story yet done a few bits and pieces will start doin the story 2moro i think :cupwin:
im starting to get really excited about this gasme, tehre seems to be alot of posts about saying how good it is! :whispe:
yeah i was rly excited and when i actually got down and played it i straight away see what all the fuss was about, there hasnt been a game thats grabbed my attention like this in years.....we need to get a multiplayer goin towards the end of next week when me and others have had a chance to lvl up to check what its like, doin the quest's as a grp and also have a little pvp against eachother :bigok:
edit: will this game be gettin its own section in the "various individual game" part of the forum det? as i seem to think alot of ppl are gettin into it and would be good to see a guide for it

It's going to go one better than that and get it's on front page place, with a full guide to go with it. Between now and Sunday...
There's very few games out there that we can gather such a good gathering for and which we feel can last the trst of time but Sacred is definately one of them.
Although well done i found it very basic. I was impressed by the livestock animations though. Quests were very ho hum as well.
There's 3 levels of quests though, the basic mini missions are you could say very basic, then there are multi part quests that take a lot more time and are much more fun completing, then there are the main storyline quests which need to be completed to advance in the story. I think some of them are indeed very basic and could do with a bit more depth, but from what i've read on some of the German fan sites, some of the multi player quests are huge and need a team to stand any chance of completing them.
There's also options once you complete the game once to play it again on harder settings with some different quests which are a lot harder.
I also understand from the German version which seems to have been out for a lot longer then the UK version, that there are plenty of patches and addons planned for the game in new lands and with new aims and quests, so that should make it more interesting...
The single player mode is always going to lack something for all MMORPG fans though, as it doesn't have that real interaction feel that MMORPG's have.
Personally I find it a lot better than Diablo2 as there is so much more of a free feel to the game that you are not stuck following one path leading to the final end of game baddy and that you can take which ever route you want through the game.
lvl 13 gladiator here will hopefully get to 18-20 by 2moro mornin :cupwin: played it bout 5-6 hrs and covered 2.5% of map this game is sweeeeet :shiny1:
Just had a go on the demo to see what you are all going on about, and i agree this is a fantastic looking game. Great graphics(the screen shots don't do the game justice), fluid movement, loads of quests promised(although i've only seen a few having only played the demo for a short period)
I've just ordered a full copy so i'll see you ingame when i've lvled my char a bit on the offline part.
I chose the seraphim char for the demo, will prob choose the same for the full game.
Quick question though, how do you assign actributes? I'm only lvl 4 so far but i want to raise my strength to equip better armour, in the menu i can find the actributes page and it shows i have points to assign, but when i try to move the mouse over the settings the page goes blank again. maybe this feature is only available in the full copy and not in the demo?
