Here is a run down of that games reviews and the spark to another internet fire.
It would seem IGN say the PS3 has the worse frame rate, while Gamespot say it has the best

IGN
These big open worlds, which are fully interactive, do come at a severe cost on PS3. There is considerable texture pop-in and noticeable framerate issues. Playing back-to-back with the 360 version, it's obvious that Ubisoft did not devote enough resources to the PS3 edition. The framerate is considerably worse, so much so that it begins to affect gameplay in the later levels. You can get through the first two-thirds of Assassin with the framerate being just an annoyance, but it becomes more of an issue for the final third of the missions.

Gamespot:
There are few differences between the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. PS3 owners are blessed with a slightly more solid frame rate, although the 360 version features a little more contrast in the lighting, so it's pretty much a wash.

Opinion is fine for review score but for parts frame rate you have to state fact and it look like someone has screwed up.

Well as you probably know im completely unbiased when it comes to these things and as such my word is law, I can categorically state with absolutely no evidence that Gamespot are the correct party .


Furthermore IGN are lying nazi's.

If you watch the IGN video review its clear he does not like the game full stop what ever system he is on and points out a lot of problems with it.

Also its very strange that the developer talked so much about how great and advanced their AI is for this game and then forgot to put it in.

OK IGN UK gave it a 6.5 and IGN AU gave it an 8.7

So it seems if your looking to buy a game and you read reviews to help you decide if it is worth your money, then its best to stay away from IGN at the mo as they are confusing as hell.

I like the look of this and the fact that is not all shouting and theres plenty to explore. Reviews are good if the poeple doing them are not biase! I thought at one bit he was gonna blab this big twist out. The best place to come for a review of a game is here!! Ill just wait till you guys have played it and see what you think.

Can pretty much confirm that the reviews are bull crap, this game is fantastic.
The AI isn't as bad as the reviewers made out as well. The hidden blade is very well concealed when a kill is performed and most of the time you can walk round the corner out of sight before the body crumples to the floor and the guards come to inspect, and yes if you stick around they do realise it was you who done it.

Now to comment on the combat. The enemies do take turns attacking but you can be attacked from any distance and at any pace. One enemy will attack and then could be followed straight after by the enemy behind.
The combat can feel a bit easy at times, but anyone interested in buying this game, don't listen to the reviews. It is superb.
