well my instructors car is a brand new diesel that is really easy to start on a hill... hell i dont even have to use the gas to get it to move up lol, but she was trying to teach me how to do it on my own car (which is a petrol Micra and stalls really easily)
anyways, she was saying i should increase the gas while lifting the clutch off, so just after the start i should be ready to go into 2nd.... she never told me that before so i wasnt giving it any more or any less gas when trying to get up the hills, so i guess thats what my problem was
anyways, ill be driving through town tonight to go and replace my router so we'll see how it goes on the hills
I could never use an automatic. I would get bored. Friend used one once while his car was in the garage and he didnt know what to do with his other hand and not using the clutch lol. Manual is good fun when you get used to it.
Failed =/ Ah well, I guess I'll jsut have to try harder next time and hope it's not absoloutly pouring it down. Fingers crossed for second time. I mean, they do say the best drivers pass second time
