not been on here in a long time but i thought it only fair to let some of my old mates from Mir know the good news. a week or so ago at Magic Kingdom in Florida i proposed to my GF Emma who said yes. after initaly saying "bugger off" as she thought i was joking.

Everyones very pleased but there is no date set.

i dont think so. engaged at 21 isnt a problem for either of us, my parents were married and had a flat at 21 and they are still goin strong, and her parents were the same.

at the end of the day you do it when the time is right. both of us are responsible enough to know that marriage and life after marriage can be a struggle with paying the mortgage etc which is why we arnt rushing into getting wed. we have made the initial commitment with the full intention of making the final one as and when we have a flat and are both settled in jobs. i have had a full time job for 3 years and am now topping 25k and she is studying for her diploma in nursing so in 2 years she will finish that and hopefully get a job. from thaen we can work on a flat and then on the wedding.

so its a while away yet.

major threadnomancy here but while at work i got a touch of nostalgia and thought i'd check to see that you are still here and sure enough i wasnt disappointed!

Pleased to say my Wife and I finally tied the knot on 6th June this year

so this is a combination of a "keep you updated" post as well as "maybe im back on TF for the first time in AGES" post.
