What the funk!?

First things first, i havent been on here since like...the dawn of time. So like...hi everybody long time no social etc.

Moving along to my problem at hand. (i didnt put this in the gaming section by the way...not because im ignorant, but because it doesnt really have anything to do with games....kinda...)

SO i acquired my Xbox 360 back Feb...been having a whale of a time playing oblivion and the likes, however...ive realised lately that wide screen HD TVs are like, the new "in thing" (kinda like pogs, only about half a grand more expensive). So i thought id buy myself the LE26R74BDX 26" samsung, what with dead rising over the horizon and such, im going to NEED it.

So i ordered that off play without realising i havent got a place to put it. then it hit me....BRACKETS MY FRIENDS!... brackets seem to be the only logical solution, what with my 3ft by 5ft room, its the only way. So i go to order some ajustable brackets off currys website....WHEN I LOOKED AT THE PRICE!!!! their wanting £240!!! for a few bits of metal? and a couple of screws?! for that price i expect it to be gold plated or something! Im livid to the extent where i may actually pinch someone. The standard ones are like....£60 ...but i need the swivelly adjustable ones so i can sit on my pc chair and play...then FWAM...switch to my bed and play.

So i was wondering if any of you fellow formatters (i can call you that right?) know any decent places to buy cheap brackets from? you'll make me a very happy guy, and i'll reward you with manlove.



oh and im not making my own. i have a hard time fixing the loo roll to that spinny thing, so any form of DIYs out of the question.

You could try eBay but other then that they aren’t cheap at all – I was going to wall mount mine until I noticed the price!

I was in IKEA the other day and I saw there universal TV bracket,
Ok no big deal cos there are lots for CTR TV’s but these baby’s were for flat screen units. There were three sizes and they cost from about £10 to about £25
I cannot find the things on there website though!...must be too new?
But they have them in the Edmonton store,
I was thinking BARGIN as I looked at them!!!!

Another place to try is Richer Sound but they will cost more than IKEA.

dont buy stuff from the high street or big name shops

you can find the exact same stuff on eBay for 90% cheaper
