The one I got wrong was not because I didn't know it though, it was because i've never seen the game given the name it had in that quiz, the copy i had certainly wasn't called that on the Speccy anyway.
That quiz seriously covered my most known era though, I mean ask me from the 90s and i'd be buggered except for the Amiga or early PC.
I had an amstrad 464, the colour one. Never had a speccy so i can get some of the more famous ones that were on multiple platforms, but some of the proper old speccy games im lost on.
That pyramid one was on a recent episode of the simpsons.
I got 11/30. my excuse is i was born in the 80's and most of these had probably been replaced by the time i started playing computer games lol.
I reckon lexxys or walker would be better at this.or even evilmonkey.
21/30. There were only 2 I hadn't heard of before and one which went by a different name. Should have got higher really as these were the games I played as a kid.
Can anybody remind me of the name of that game where you turn into beasts? It was the screenshot 3 across, 3 down. I'd love to find an emulator for that. (And yet I still couldn't remember it's name )
I've only played 5 of them, and couldn't remember the correct name for two. And that's mostly because I stopped playing in 1983. I got pretty good at those 5 though. I can still hear the Centipede themes in my head.
lol, I was an 80's kid, computers and mainstream videogaming were just starting to bloom when I was at the age to most appreciate it. I love all things 80s, music, movies, games, kids tv, white dog poo, texan bars, speak and spell, grifters, the adventure show, camping in the back garden, first proper snog and other icky stuff, white sport socks and puma match, woodpecker cider, spitting images, digital watches, etc, etc, what a fantastic era it was, so much simpler than things are today, yet so much more going on in some ways. 80s teen and geek, yup, guilty as charged and proud of it...
