Come on det! Its been on the cards for ages and its never really happened! I think you should do a survey first to see if people are willing to go and then go from there!
Think we got quite a few regulars on the site now, good mix too!

Quite a few of use meet up already I can happily say that Drag and her lots are very close friends with my lot along with dmgirl, walker, and a few others, but I agree, a TF meet up would be brill, finally get to meet those people who I am actually quite fond of lol.

One thing i'd have to say straight off though, is that everyone would have to pay their own way, if something could be planned.
Wouldn't dream of it any other way. Not sure about getting smashed tho as I kinda feel the kids are part of TF, after all 2 have been born whilst we have been TFers
Anyhow, we been down this route before and people cried off, but I'm happy to attend, providing it's not a race weekend lol.
Orrrrrr race weekend, renault world series is free, and its on the 4th/5th of July at Silverstone, and if anyone fancies being a trainee marshal for the day, you might get free camping too. Would have to check that out with hubby tho. Last years was a blast, brilliant weather and the drivers were great too. We got Bens picture taken with Marcos Martinez and he was sooo chuffed. Tickets aren't up yet, but obviously I will let people know.

Reason: oops its at Silverstone too.
Well ofcause we pay! Camping or something, or maybe some event, maybe do a poll to see if people are REALLY interested but obviously the problem is you do get people who are interested but pull out at the last second!
It would definately have to be something family friendly, as TF does have a lot of families and offspring, so something which could include everyone would have to be high on the agenda.
Of course that wouldn't mean people couldn't drink or have a laugh though, I mean it never stopped people at Mirstock.

Ye ofcause! But some adults will have to babysit! HA!
Is there much for little ones at alton towers?
altern towers is far too expensive for us but we have loads of weddings this year 4/5th of july would be out for us as my niece gets married on the 4th, 20th of june debi gets married.
The kids summer hols dont start till the back end of july. But prices go up anyway. We could try and hit the coast and hope for good weather, that way we could organise things like footy games on the beach, it would be a lot cheeper too BUT would have to be thought about pretty quickly to book camping places.

Well usually closer to summer alton towers start giving away or doing half price tickets etc with newspapers and crisps etc so it would make it a lot more affordable for us all!

I think Andy gets discounts into places like that I would have to search his asda discount book lol. But the only thing we would see of each other is as we wave at people who are in the cue for a ride.
Before organising where to go you need to find out how many people would actually attend a TF meeting, then try and establish a place from there, there's no point talking up Alton Towers if it's too far for the people who want to go to a TF meeting
Also don't try and cater for everyone as it will never happen then
Personally I would hate Alton Towers, but I honestly dont mind meeting up at a campsite or something. Our kids are used to camping and enjoy it in the summer months. Alton Towers would probably be out of our price range. 2 adults 4 kids £115
