Load of bullshit! You would need hundreds of phones to do that, and notice how the table has a cloth over it? I wonder why?

I'm fairly sure I read an article a while back about that, which mentioned that it was fake.

Oh yeah defo fake simply coz mobile phones are recieving a signal not putting one out, but its still a nice bit of scaremongery!

Well they put out plenty of signals! But not enough to do that!

actually phones do put out a fairly strong signal ... if you measure it in actual intensity rather than raw output power.

people worry about the signals from the transmitter stations, but these signals are very weak by the time they reach you or your phone.

likewise by the time the signal from your phone reaches the tower its also very weak,
however the signal strength is proportional to the distance raised to the power of 2 to 3, so you receive far more radiation 2 inches away from your own "low power" phone than you do from a "high power" tower 100 metrs away.

also the further away the tower is the more your phone increases its output power.

however im sure by now if there was any significant risk it would of made itself evident by now.

Al I have seen so far is some dubious reports of increased rates of cancer near the ear closest to the phone in people who use one nearly all day long, but statistcaly these increases are so small as to prove that moderate use is probably less of a risk than what you do while your on the phone. ie driving.
