Ideas for good "linked" gift?
It's Lucy's first birthday in March and we are arranging the party. We've asked James' best friend (and a good friend of mine too) Matt, to be Lucy's guardian, which is sort of like a godparent, but legally binding so if anything should ever happen to us he would look after her.
Obviously we didn't have a christening or anything, but we're going to take some time during her birthday party to thank Matt for taking on the responsibility and for looking after Lucy, and have a book which everyone can put messages for Lucy as she grows up, and we're looking for some sort of gift that we can give to both of them, sort of a symbol of their new relationship. We were thinking of something that's either in two halves, or two of the same thing, with a smaller one for Lucy.
I never buy this sort of thing, any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!
