It's a bit hard to see but I guess there are millions of ants living in your compost.
I expect you had better poison them, you can get stuff from Homebase and B&Q, places like that.
That might also mean chucking out the top layer of your compost heap because I think poison could ruin it.
You use apostrophes a lot don't you
Ant's invasion does imply someone called Ant invading. Sometimes better to miss out on an apostrophe than to stick one in where it's not meant to go.
that's fine Paps , don't poison them , they're doing a good job in the compost bin , i've got 'em in both mine & if they weren't there i'd have to use some type of compost activator . Det , if i remember , i'll take a pic of mine , then you can compare patterns ;=)

My estate was built on sand dunes so we get LOADS of ants, currently my front path is covered in sands and ants where they seem to be digging up my front garden from underneath the soil..........im afraid one day its all going to collaspe as i walk on the path on the way to work!
