Before anyone else decides to become abusive to the thread starter and report this thread for racism. Don't bother. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this thread and until such time as eBay pull the plug on the auction citing it as racist, I have absolutely no reason to remove it from here and even if they do pull it from eBay, it would only be removed from here because the content from the link was no longer there for people to see.
I'm English, this is an English website, it's about entertainment, the name Mohammed has no more relevence to me or TF than the name Thomas and just because the name Mohammed has been bandied around the news recently does not mean TF suddenly becomes over politically or religiously sensitive to such things.
You also won't find the christmas cheer "ho, ho, ho" being banned on TF either.

It's not. It's an ebayer basically selling a teddy bear called muhammed and trying to have a little fun while going about it and judging by the current price, succeeding. Anything else people are reading into it is basically people being overly sensitive.

Well I don't get what the hoo haa is all about, in fact I think its quite a good way to show people exactly how silly the whole teddy bear business was and how weak willed the UK was about helping out one of its citizens. I don't understand how calling a teddy mohammed is racist/religious hatred or whatever, and quite frankly I think people should quit with the holier than thou attitude because everyone in this day and age is as bad as each other. The only difference is they have a government with bollocks and we clearly don't.
Now if it had been a teddy pig, then perhaps I would have thought twice as that is clearly a dig at their religon.
