Righty , im in the middle of making a website that is mainly HTML , but utilises a built in MP3 player & Navigation bar thats built in flash. Frames arnt being used and certainly wont be aslong as im making this site .

Now the problem is , when changing pages via the navigation through flash , its reseting the mp3 player (cant belive i didnt see it coming tbh) which is abit useless. To Far to go back and insert frames as i cant stand the *******s , so my question is:

In flash actionscript , can you use the "Show/Hide Div Layer" function to command the HTML page its in ? & if so , by what code.

tbh just use an iframe for ur navigation, frames are often used badly but done correctly they are pretty good.

really not to sure why som people think frames are that bad, theres afew other ways u cud get around it tho, but non i can be arsed explaining, from ones down to flash levels and action script coding.

thought about that , but it means taking the entire site apart to fit the thing together .
