The normal diasgnostic path for this problem is to first check the running temperatures are correct in the BIOS, however if no audible alarm is sounding at shutdown then it's least likey,
you will need to open the case and check that the power
on switch is connected correctly on the motherboard side, consult the motherboard
manual and re-examine the pin out on the switch / led block,
then bypass the case's power switch, by shorting the pins and powering up the unit
and letting it run, if it returns to normal, then you might have a damaged case switch,
they are very fragile and just fitting them in case can break them internally
if the unit continues to shutdown despite this, get hold of another PSU and try running the
system again,
after eliminating the above, it's time to look at the motherboard, it needs to be removed
to see of any contact is being made with it's underside, and the fixing plate in the case,
remove the cmos battery for several minutes, then put it back in again, re enter BIOS and restore your optimal settings,
if the fault persists you should contact the motherboard maker for RMA.
