Xbox 2 developer kits shipping out
Xbox 2 developer kits have started making their way to game companys across the land. Quite scary is the fact that the Xbox 2 dev kit features Apple G5 technology. The system that programmers are using is a high spec Mac with a Windows operating system.
The dual Power Mac G5 processors are currently accompanied by a Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card, although this is expected to be replaced by the much more powerful R420 closer to the launch date.
The confirmed specs for the Xbox 2 are still not even confirmed and it's likely we'll hear more talk of some beefy hardware being used in the not so distant future.
