Dark Ages Thus began the investigation into the nature of the world. Elements were no longer partners for play and imagination, but were tools for discovery. Those that began the discipline, though, found no peace in the answer. Human magic was born; along with it men gained a fatal glimpse of the nature of things outside the local harmony.

The Eulogy, Redemption, and Adoration of Danaan
Insight: 11+

Eulogy
DATE: Around U.S. Thanksgiving

To begin, you must choose a site. The options are:

Pravat Cave (cannot have killed ANY Grimlok)
Astrid (cannot have killed ANY Kobolds)
Mehadi (cannot have killed ANY Frogs)

If you have killed the prohibited creatures, you may still worship there, as long as you kill ten different TYPES of creatures first.

If you have done the Eulogy or Redemption before, you do NOT need to go to the same site, though there will be a minor bonus award in the amount of experience gained, should you do so.

On the specific day (the date and time will be on the Dark Ages homepage), go to the chosen site, and find the sermon giver:

Pravat: Next to the pool near the Grimlok Queen-side Conix wall
Astrid: At the Octogram
Mehadi: In the second sevti harvesting area. If you are in the first one, the path is in the right corner.

Once you find the sermon-giver, listen to the sermon quietly.

When the sermon is done, click on the sermon-giver, and give your Eulogy. Go through all the pop-ups.

You will get a lot of experience, and one of the three following items:

Pravat: Pravat Cross
Astrid: Astrid Octogram
Mehadi: Mehadi Rose

Redemption
DATE: Around Easter

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE DONE THE EULOGY NOR HAVE A EULOGY ITEM FOR MOST OF THIS.

If you did the Eulogy, bring the item with you to the Redemption.

To begin, go to the site where you did the Eulogy. If you did not do the Eulogy, then choose any of the three sites, following the guideline listed above.

Again, listen to the sermon. Then, click on the sermon-giver and ask for Redemption. Go through the pop-ups. You will receive experience.

IF YOU DID THE EULOGY:

After the pop-ups, your item will have upgraded:

Pravat - Adranuch Cross
Astrid - Arpina Octogram
Mehadi - Matrika Rose

The Adoration of Danaan
DATE: July 4

YOU MUST HAVE EITHER A EULOGY OR REDEMPTION ITEM TO DO THIS QUEST.

You must first find a group of people, and between the three, you need one person from each Eulogy site. One from Pravat, one from Astrid, one from Mehadi.

EACH PERSON MUST HAVE THEIR ITEM, EITHER EULOGY OR REDEMPTION

Go to the octagram in Astrid. The person who worshipped there will click on the sermon-giver and will offer his item. Then he will name one of the other people. That person will offer his item, and name the third person. He will offer his item as well.

If you contributed a Eulogy (Place Name) item, you will receive +1 to all stats.

If you contributes a Redemption (Goddess Name) item, you will receive +2 to all stats.

The Heart of Fire and Moon Quest [Heart of Stone]

1. Go talk to Marlin, the wizard in Loures prison. Go through all of the popups and tell him you will take the message to Bella.

2. Go talk to Jean, the Loures counselor next to the library of Loures. Talk to him about the Theory of Conjunction, and go through all of the popups EXCEPT for "Even if it damns others"? (for males) and "Do you love Bella?" (for females) If you do this one, then go back to the first step.

3. Go to the Eastern Woodlands, the lowest level(Enchanted Garden). If you hit a creature then you need two red potions for this step of the quest. Go to the Lower eastern side of the garden(follow the path to the right) until you find some betony flowers. Walk though the betony, a popup will come up. Select these options only(the others could cause you to get poisoned)..

Wait>Hello>I can't.
Walk over the same spot a second time.
Wait>Who is Bella?>Where is she now?

Now go back to Marlin and tell him what the Faerie said, go through all of the popups. Now go out of the prison and out of the armory place and go to the left entrance, the room with a pillowless bed. Go to the bottom of the room and when asked to feel the stone or resist, feel it to get into the dark maze.

The dark maze is split up among different insight levels (integers of ten I believe). They all end up at the same place eventually.
Dunans drop dark belts rarely, this is the only place where they drop.
Don't attack Night Gaunts if you are a lower insight, they move fast and attack fast.

To get out of the dark maze, go back down from the entrance, go through the eastern exit, and go around to the second eastern exit from the Nightgaunt room. Sometimes you get poisoned attempting to feel the stone to exit so it might help to bring some personaca along with you.

Once you are in the room a male and female aisling step into the circle(fire gets more exp and goes in first) and recite sets of lines. After the quest you get lots of experience. I got about a million exp the first time I did it but the second time on a different character I only got 50k(!!) so I think the exp depends on your insight. You get a legend mark as well.
Right after heart of fire you can do heart of stone and get an additional 20k exp.

Heart of Fire or Moon grants you power to get the protective spell Aite every time you visit Marlin in the prison. Heart of Stone allows you to gather conix stones in Pravat under the torches every 9 hours and turn them in for 20k exp every time you enter the dark maze. If you do heart of stone you cannot cast aite upon yourself(dia) but have others cast dia upon you.

Terror of the (Area)
Insight: 1-49

You must be under insight 50, and have a group of no more than two other people, who are all within your circle (insights 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40). One of the group members must walk past the old man in the Mileth Tavern, who will ask for money. Give him 1000 gold. Talk to him about the terrors and nightmares. Say you want to try.

He will ask for the name of a group member. Put in the name of one of your group members. He will then ask that person if he is ready. If he says yes, then the old man will ask him for the third person's name. IF THERE ARE ONLY TWO MEMBERS, THEN THE SECOND PERSON MUST PUT IN THE FIRST PERSON'S NAME!

Once all the group members are sworn to the quest, the old man will tell the first person about a location. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION! He will either talk about the Mileth Crypt, Enchanted Garden, or the streets of Abel.

Terror of the Crypt

Go to the 2-1 floor of the Crypt. Go straight from the stairs, and go into the first alcove. Walk around near the wall to the far right of the screen of that alcove. You'll be teleported to the room.

Terror of the Alley

Go to Abel, and take the path to the left from the entrance to the city. You'll walk past a big building. Go behind it, and walk around. You'll be teleported to the room.

Terror of the Garden

Go to the Enchanted Garden (2-1 East Woodlands) and walk around the mid-left area. Walk behind every tree you see. You'll be teleported to the room eventually.

Once you are in the room, you will see a monster that is much more difficult than normal for your insight (such as a Great Bat for insight 20's). You must kill the creature. You will get a lot of experience. Then, exit the area USING THE EXIT! DO NOT DACHAIDH OR USE A SCROLL! This will give you more experience and the Legend Mark.

Dream of Morrigu
Insight: 80
Class: Priest and Wizard
Gender: Female

Go to Fae in Piet.

Talk to her about the sisters Morrigu.

Go to east woodlands garden.

Walk straight into the garden until you see a tree and a patch of red flowers on your aisling's left. You'll get a popup in the clearing below the tree.

You will be transported to a secret spot and then, when stepping into the red flowers, told where you must go (either EW 20, EW 18, or Abel 10)

Return to Center of EW garden and get the popup again.

When you're transported to the secret spot you will get your Nightmare armor.

Warning: Make sure your inventory is pretty empty the armor weighs a ton and if you got too much stuff it will drop and you won't be able to get back in to pick it up.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PORTE FOREST

- PREPERATION -

1) Get a lot of reds & komadiums together, everyone. You'll need them.

2) [Optional] If you plan on using faith summons and glioca dion, for god's sake make sure your faith is divine as hell. Bats & frogs won't do squat, sorry.

3) [Optional] Take a few ard ioc deums, hydele deums, exkuranums, or whatever along. They just might prove useful to you if you don't have glioca dion and your priest ends up in a bind.

4) [Recommended] Go in disposable gear--that means bank or transfer to an alt anything that you can't bear to lose (signets, pirate clothes, cash, sparkle rings, whatever you consider valuable)

- EACH PERSON MUST COMPLETE THESE STEPS -

1) Get 4 trent roots

2) Take them to the weapon smith and say 'Porte Forest'

3) Go to 4-R and search around some flowers & rocks toward the east corner of the map until you find the Turuc Pendant

4) [Optional] Collect 6 (minimum) ant wings from the big red flying ants.

5) [Optional] Collect 5 silver wolf hairs from the white wolves. (Silver Kobolds) You shouldn't use a tarp unless everyone else is, too. If even one person is carrying a tarp, he will cast his mor ionads more often in frustration.

6) [Optional] Take them to the fae priestess in suomi and say 'Wolf Skin Tarp'

- NOW, AS A GROUP -

1) Go to 4-C and then head north-east to the infamous trap room. You'll know you're there when you find an area with no creatures, and where you skills will cease to function.

2a) [With 6+ Ant Wings] Proceed in a straight line to the next area, a small 'waitin room'

2b) [Without Ant Wings] Form a single-file line in the trap room, and proceed across. When the lead person skulls, the person behind them revives them. Cast a prayer, or a snare or something to 'cover' the trapped square, then proceed until you reach the waiting room.

3) Next is the mantis, so buff everyone up, make sure people are grouped, etc. Anyone with glioca dion needs to cast it now. Once ready, only ONE person is to proceed to the next area! (everyone else will be dragged in) If more than one person goes in at the same time, you will end up with more than 1 mantis to contend with. You don't want that.

4a) [With Tarps] Glioca dion is vital, as the mantis will cast his mor ionads once he realizes his death attack failed. From here you can use divnie-faith summons to kill it, or cradh it and bash away. Fas it too, if using dark necklaces, as it's a random element.

4b) [Without Tarps] Glioca dion will help, since he will still periodically cast mor ionads. You will need to be quick to red people as he picks them off. Same as before though, curse him, and fas him if using dark necklaces. Will take a lot of reds, but can actually be easier and safer this way, since he won't cast his mor ionads as often, unless somebody is carrying a tarp.

5) Once the mantis dies, you'll be ported to a dark room with a girl. Talk to her and recieve the first legend mark, and the coveted tristar ring. You'll then be ported to her father's house.

6a) [Keep Ring] From here, just leave/scroll. You've done it, congrats! The tristar rings is +300 hp, +150 mp, -1 ac, and +10% mr. It should be noted that tristar rings perish, though.

6b) [Give Ring] Talk to the guy behind the counter, and give up the ring. You'll recieve a secondary legend mark for doing so. Congrats, you have completed this quest!

- PORTE MANTIS -

Statistics: His attack and defense nature will be a random combination of the 4 basic elements (fire, wind, earth, sea) so dark = good in this scenario. I'm unsure of his current hp at the moment.

Spells: Deathblow (or something like that), poison, cradh, mor [random element] ionad.

Attack Pattern:

1) Make Note: Fortuantely for bashers, he almost never assails.

2) The infamous death attack: The mantis will call the name of his target, then moments later, he'll say 'Diee~'. When he says this, he'll then unleash his dion-penetrating death attack. Red that person immediately. He'll bully that person every so often with his death attack until he changes targets...in which case, he'll announce it. "blahblah, you are next'" or something like that.

3) mor [random element] meall: Rarely, he'll cast a full-room mor elemental attack spell. If everyone is critically low (especially if unfased) from deathblows, this could very well end your group unless they have dion up, so be careful. Note, he will cast these more frequently if someone is carrying a tarp, since he cannot outright kill them. Thus, having a tarp can actually make things more difficult in some cases...gotta love the irony. ^^

4) Other: Periodically, he'll also cast cradh and poison on people. Not too much of a threat compared to his other attacks.

n00by quest walkthroughs.
(only really viable for insight 1-11)
apart from talking to people, these quests can be done once per (RL) day(or once per 12 hours, i'm not fully sure)
note: north is the top side of your screen, south the bottom, east the right and west the left. down is the direction you walk when you push down on your keyboard, up when you push up, left when you push left, right when you push right. so there are north, south, east and west corners in each map, while the up, down, left and right sides are the walls between the corners
Talking to people
the first time you talk to someone about a certain subject, you will likely get a nice XP bonus. this can only be done once, and i'd advice everyone to do this immediatly after finishing the tutorial.
people that are most noted to give xp are: devlin, the fae priest of mileth; dar, the mileth dark wizard; the mileth warrior trainer; the mileth weapons celler; the priest of any temple.
when you have finished this, you should be about lvl 4, and ready for the vorlof or spare a stick quests. i usually combine the spare a stick quest with my walkaround mileth, as the person that gives the stick quest gives you xp, and you can collect sticks while walking around.
Vorlof's Training Quest
go to vorlof, in the westernmost building in mileth.
he'll tell you to get a dirk, boots and a shield. he'll provide you with cash if needed.
he'll ask you to slay some wolves. the quest has a number of steps, and each one requires you to do some things. Vorlof will give you detailed instructions on what to do. follow his lead and the quest should be easy enough.
Spare a stick.
go to the mileth weapons dealer. level 1-5
talk to him about 'spare a stick'
he'll tell you to fetch him 6 branches. these can be found just south-east of the inn where you woke up. just walk around 2-5 minutes.
when you have 6, go back to him and give them to him. he'll give you a stick or two, and a wooden shield, some xp and some spare change. rarely, you'll get a legend mark saying 'loved by mileth mundanes(1)', wich can increase if you do the quest a lot. sometimes you'll get an oak stick as well, wich is a slightly better weapon than the normal stick or dirk, and a minor collectors item.
Dark things
Dar, the mileth dark wizard in the north of mileth will ask you to get him some monster parts from the crypt. he'll ask you to get either a centipede gland, a spider eye, a bat wing or a scorpion sting. the only way to know what he needs is to tell him that you have it. if you don't, he'll tell you what he needs. you can still do the quest after that.
spider eyes and centipede glands can both be easily found on the first level of the crypt. for bat wings, you can run down to the thrird or fourth level and hope that someone left one lying around. for scorp stings, you'll have to run down to the fifth or deeper level. note, though, that venturing lower than the second level is quite dangerous, as the monsters will probably kill you in one hit, and they start casting quite strong spells from that point on. don't go down there unless you have an elemental belt on, or even better some help from an experienced player.
the reward is 5k xp, wich is quite nice for low level aislings, especially wizards and priests.
all the items that dar requires you to get for the dark things quest he also buys for some nice cash. a spider eye will net you 500 coins. centipede glands are 1100, bat wings 1250 and scorpion stings 5000 coins.
A little bit of that
next to the house of dar is the house of Cian, the milethian alchemist. he'll ask you to get some rotten fruits or other foodstuffs for him. all these can be found at the first or second level of the crypt (except for the moldy baguette, wich can no longer be found). he'll reward you with some nice xp (either 3000 or 1000, i'm not sure) Cian, too buys the things he asks for, but at much lower prices. but as you can carry a lot of rotten fruit, and everyone leaves it laying around, you can make a nice sum of money by selling a lot.
on honey
Devlin, the milethian fea priestess will ask you to get her some honey and/or some raw wax. raw wax can easily be found in the Eastern woodlands, but raw honey only drops in the east woodlands 4-1, so it can be hard to come by. she also gives a nice xp reward, though more for honey than for wax. she also buys raw honey, raw wax and royal wax. raw honey can be eaten to gain 200-500 hp, so you might want to hold on to it for a bit.
picking cherries and grapes
if you go to abel, and walk all the way to the port, and then take the leftmost peer, you can go to undine. walk all the way through undine and you can go to suomi. in suomi is a cherry farm and a grape farm. for some gold, you can harvest the cherries and grapes (grapes are 50 gold, cherries 1000-2000). the farmer will tell you not to walk over the plants, so don't do so. walk over the path, and you'll get a lot of cherries and grapes. each bunch of cherries or grapes you pick will net you 250 xp, for a total of about 7000 xp for the two of them. ask your mentor for some money and a scroll if you want to go there, as it's a long walk.
the cherries and grapes can sometimes be sold to priests, as they can use them to make the fabulous red potions. don't expect much gold, though. i'd advice you to give them away and thus make a new friend.

Penta Quest
Insight: 60+
Must be in a group of your circle

Preparations:
At least 2 Zombie Flesh for the Wizard
5-6 days of labor for everyone
A high level person to help people who are getting their clues in Cthonic Remains

Starting:
Everyone meets in Loures Library and the wizard starts the pact by going to the a shelf. Once everyone signs the pact the clock begins and you have 3 hours to finish the quest or you will not get the armor.
Everyone goes to House Macabre and follow the road until you meet the crossroads and take a left until you reach graves north of the road and you head north until you find a house. Go in the house and fall down the hole. Their should be skulls arranged in a pentagram.
When everonye is ready the wizard drops his zombie flesh 2 spaces in front of him towards the center. Everyone should then move to skulls clockwise

Now this is where you get the first clue. ~*~REMEMBER~*~ this is not your clue, this clue goes to the person who was just standing on the spot. I.e. the wizard will tell the warrior where to go. Ok, it gets tricky when they tell you to go to places like Macabre Study 3-2, the first number means the yard, the seoncd number means which cellar/study. Cellars are under studies, and you can go from study to study through the cellars

From the Road to House Macabre, you go to yard 1, from the cross roads in yard 1, up north will take you to yard3, west will take you to yard 2, and east will take you to yard4

Ok, when everyone exchanges clues, go and find the location ASAP. When you find the second clue, ~*~REMEMBER~*~ this is not your clue, to find out whose clue it is, they show you a monster, there are 2 monsters, the first is yours, the second is the person you should tell

Nagieter (rat with red cape) - Monk Clue
Kroloser Rider (headless horseman) - Rogeu Clue
Scarlet Beetle (red beetle) - Warrior Clue
Lich (green clad monster) - Wizard Clue
Dark Cleric (black clad, kinda raincoat like robe monster) - Priest Clue

So when you find that clue, tell the person ASAP, and wait for your 3rd clue. When your 3rd clue comes, they will tell you to free them from the pentagram.

There is a bug for the rogue and wizard 3rd clue. When everyone gets their 3rd clue you must go back to the pentagram and do the ritual again. A random Cthonic Remains 10 monster will appear and you must kill it. Then I think you do the ritual again and you should get your armor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creant Quests
Insight: Master

Lady Phoenix

Ok, you will need a: Dragon Scale Sword, Group, 3 tangerines, 3 mantis eyes, rambutan, papya, green grapes, grapes, cherries, Passion Flower, Pirate Hat, Tentacle. First off, go to Oren Islands Tower Maze. Then complete it, and get a pirate hat. Then go to Lynith Beach and head to the pirate ship(make sure pirate hat is equipped) And talk to the short pirate behind the counter in the resteraunt. He will give you a Tentacle. Head to Mileth Tavern and talk to the Old Man. He will tell you the legend of the DSS. Go to Shinewood 7 and go through the bottom path. Press tab to turn on the map and it will be in the shape of a Dragon Head. Go into the "Eye Of The Dragon" and summon the Dragon. Slay it for the DSS. After that go to Shinewood Forest. Find Shinwood 30. There will be a house. go in and say "Creant" to the old guy. I forgot what area it is but it will be in the shape of an Ant. Go into the "Head" of it. It will say that a Giant Ant Crawls out of the Trees and burrows into the ground. Head to Shinewood 17 And go into a house with a lady in it.
Talk to her and she will say she will explain any monster in shinewood. Say the words "Giant Ant" to her. She will tell you that ants like sweet things so she tells you to go and fetch 1 of every fruit. After you do this go back to her and she'll make you a "Sweet Potion" Go back to the Ant Area and summon the Giant Ant.
Well, anyways, summon it for however many times your group needs to. Each of you will get a "Giant Ant Head". Well, go to an area of shinewood that shows a Mantis Head. Step into its "Eye" and head back to 17 and say "Giant Mantis" to her. She will make a potion out of the rest of the stuff you have.
Go back to the mantis area, step back into the "Eye" and drop the potion.
The Red Mantis
Is quite annoying because he does that idiodic thing where he says: "(Your Name) I Will Hunt You Down." and skulls you in 1 hit. But other than that he's ok. Kill
him for how many ever times your group needs too. Everyone should get a "Mantis Claw". Head back to Shinewood 30 house and say "Creant" again. Trade in the Head and the Claw for the Phoenix Feather and Ring. After this part,
is the final guardian battle. Head to 31 and find an altar. Before you summon this nasty beast, have the rogue absolutely SPAM suains on the tannish square next to the altar. After this, attack the altar. The Earth Hy-Draco
Is hard because you have to kill it 3 times(1 for each head) to defeat it. It drops
the Lady Phoenix Claw. After the Hy-Draco is slayed, go to Shinewood 35. Look
around untill you see a staircase with a small pond at the top. Like before, have the rogue SPAM suains all around the pond, staircase, and grass. After that, step in the middle of the pond, and summon the creant. Lady Phoenix is a harpy with an attitude. She casts Ard Srad Gar, Ard Dark Gar, Wings Of Protection, and Dion. After she is killed, a "Lady Phoenix Helm" will be on the ground.
Well, anyways, Thats the Lady Phoenix Quest

Medusa

Ok, you will need: Shovel, group, copar bone set, half talisman, and swimming shorts. First off, wear your swimming shorts to Lynith Beach.
Go to the RIGHT not LEFT side of the beach. Head to the very bottom and walk right again. Once you see a nautilus shell on the ground go about 1 space under that and start walking around(you must be wearing swim shorts)
once you find it head to the Oren Ruins. There is a certain spot in the 1rst area I believe that transports you into the Oren Ruins Fields. Equip you shovel and walk everywhere. Once you get the Copar Set, find the altar for the Copar. Once you find it summon it. The Copar Draco
Is'nt that tough but, too an inexperienced group, he can be a handful. Well, anyways, he drops a Ruby Eye. The Ruby Eye summons the next Guardian which is the Fire Drake I believe....... but I'm not sure. But anyways, whatever guardian it is, it drops the Sapphire Eye. Sapphire Eye summons the Lava Golem? But, that guardian drops the Emerald Eye which is needed to summon the dreadful Fire Hy-Draco. Defeat him and he'll drop the Beryl Eye, Iron Ore Eye, and the ????? Eye. Well, anyways, if you do'nt already have a Half Talisman, you have to hunt Rhuditears for them. After you recieve the Half Talisman, go to the banker guy and talk to him about the Talisman. He'll tell you to get one. Just instantly talk to him again and he'll sell you the other half for like 500k I think. Then, head next door and talk to the fat guy. He will first make you a talisman, then, the eyes come, and finally, the pearl goes in. It will now be upgrated to a Summoning Talisman.
Head back into the Oren Ruins. Head up 2 or 3 floors and find a gate opening that look like the other gates that lead to summoning rooms. Enter and you will be in a big room filled with hostile vipers. They are actually pretty tough too kill, but they drop reds. So stock up! Afterwords, head up to the altar and summon the creant. Medusa is not much different from Lady Phoenix because they both are pretty much the same difficulty. But they are different because Medusa doesnt cast WOP and dion. She only casts Ard Dar Gar. But after she is killed, she drops her Medusa Tail. But anyways, that's the Medusa Quest!

Tauren

Ok, you will need a: Group. First off, head too Mt. Giragan and find Mountain Room 24 I believe it is. Find the mundane goblin and he will transform you into a goblin, and transport you into the Ice Caves. Go up into the next room, then go left into the next room, and then head Up again. Talk to the other goblin mundane. He sends you into another room with a goblin mundane in it. Talk to that mundane and he will summon a few warlords. Well, anyways, one drops a Throne Key. After this, go back to the first goblin. Talk to him and he'll give you the Goblin Hy-Brasyl Gauntlet. Head to the Throne Entrance and use the key to get in. After this head in and summon the guardian. When the General is summoned, make sure that you instantly surround him on all sides so that he doesnt go and SPAM goblin warlord summoning spells. After he dies, He drops the Nose Ring. After this, head to the Kelberoth Summoning place.(mountain 34 i think) After this, go through the rest of the caves reading the rocks. They all spell out the words K-E-L-B-E-R-O-T-H. After this, go back to the Kelberoth summoning place. Say "Kelberoth". The Kelberoth is a nasty beast because he has like, 1000 mr and he SPAMS Dire Wolf summoning spells.(also from what i've heard, he's supposed to kill you in 1 hit) I suggest kill him with a bunch of Maiden Traps. After this great beast is slayed, you will get your Tauren Horn. After this head to mountain 12-13 or something. On the left side of the map
will be an opening to a cave. Be careful, because these rooms are absolutely FILLED with Ice Elementals and Ice Skeletons. After about 3 or 4 rooms, youll get too a small room with a frozen thing in it. Go up to the frozen monster and summon the creant. The Tauren is quite annoying because sometimes you lose track on which is the right Tauren!
He casts a spell called "Mirror Image" It makes copies of himself and it gets really annoying sometimes. Well, anyways, he's just like any other creant so throw everything youve got at him and rip him apart! Well, after he dies, he drops a "Tauren Hoof". But to get your armor walk back up to the Mr. Frozen Guy and get your armor. So, that's the Tauren Quest!

Shamensyth

Ok, you will need a: group, red shocker cube, gold shocker cube, and 2 blue shockers.
The Sewer Maze is a VERY annoying place because it's a HUGE labyrinth filled with Red, Blue, Black, and Gold Shocker Cubes. Once you get 2 blues and 1 red and 1 gold cube, head to Sewer Maze 6 and take the WEST exit. You will arrive in a summoning room. The first guardian is Red And Blue so you will need 1 blue cube and 1 red cube to summon him. Anolipo is indeed one of the jester brothers he is'nt too tough but still, he's a challenge. After Anolipo is killed, you receive the bottom part of the wand I believe it is. After this head to floor 10. Head east. Go into the next room. This is the summoning room. Jalipo is'nt much different then his other insane brother but like before, he's a challenge. He drops the top wand.
After this, get out of the maze and travel to Nobis Island. Have the fat guy make the Blazing Wand for you. After you get your wand, go back to the sewer maze.
I'm not quite sure where the Shamensyth area is but once you find it, stand on the teleportation-looking pad thing and summon the creant. Shamensyth is pretty tough because he has a spell that is called "Fire Ring"
But after he dies, he drops a Shamensyth Mask. But anyways, stand back on the pad and you will get your armor.Well, that's the Shamensyth Quest!

Male Priest and Wizard Nightmare
Insight: 80+
Class: Priest or Wizard
Gender: Male

The quest is simple. It's doing it that's the only problem.
1. (Optional) Talk to the hunchbank in the Temple of Choosing next to Aoife (pink girl). He'll tell you how to start the quest, and give you the days you need to perform it - On or after the days of Sgrios and Luathas, and their numerical days.
3. Procure a Sgrios Prayer Necklace. This might be the hardest part. If I was restored I could help you personally, but Blur is messed up. Ask a Sgrian priest, in PERSON, about one. Don't put a post on the board, that's just lazy and irresponsible. You'll never hear back. Best way to do it is wait in the Temple. Second best way is look up a list and ask a Priest in a whisper. DO NOT ask every Priest down the list of they're Sgrian. I HATE IT when I get "r u luthans prist?" The Sgrian will probably want to a) Test your mettle, or b) ask you for very expensive collateral. LB, DB, Myths, Hybs, 10 mil coins or so. If they ask for less... well, they won't.

2. Use nis to find out the day. Each day lasts 3 real hours, so if you happen to notice it's the day of Sgrios or Luathas, that means you have 6 hours to get down there. Plenty of time.

3. Go down to 22-2 of the Mileth crypt. Really easy, actually. Use the stairs on the first floor in the northwest corner of the map (up and left) then just go down every set of stairs you see. Here's the tricky part.. you will end up in 22-1. When you get there, head back in the door you just came out.. you'll be in 21-2 instead of 21-1. Go back down the stairs you just "came out of", and you should be in 22-2. Immediately in front of you you'll see an orange coffin/sarcophagus, the ones that are all over the crypt. Make sure the north (up) side is clear of enemies, you'll be getting a few pop-up windows and don't want them to be whacking you while you're at it. Lure them away and pramh if you're alone. Dion helps too.

4. WEAR YOUR SGRIOS NECKLACE and head to the north side and for god's sake READ the pop-ups. It's interesting stuff. You'll be either transported to a small room or told your next task right there, I can't remember.

5. You'll be told to go to one of three places - deeper in the Mileth Crypt, Dubhaim Castle, or Piet Dungeon. Depending on which day you do it on you'll get a different one, and a different legend mark - Disciple of Dawn/Decay/Death. I don't know which is which except I know Blur did Dubhaim, and he's Dawn. Read it carefully, because if you do, it'll tell you more details about where exactly you need to go, including area of the map and number of the map itself.

6. Can't help you too much here since I barely remember Mileth Crypt, it's been ages. I think it was on the southwest edge of the map, but I'm not sure. Piet I never did. Dubhaim, get to the map number it tells you, it's at the north end of a long hall, and the north wall should have no door. It actually says this in the instructions, but the spot you're looking for is in between the little |_|-|_|-| parts of the wall, just use your tab map and try it all. Deo the creatures in the way or pramh them, or have a rogue friend blind them. Or just dion if you have it. Wearing your Sgrios necklace I don't think is neccessary here, but it might be. If you can't find it, try that. Dubhaim I'm sure about, maybe other people can explain EW/Piet more thoroughly. You have ONE REAL LIFE HOUR from the moment you get the "Eight Temuairian Hours" pop-up to do this.

7. The armor and helmet are NOT no drop, and they DO perish. Make sure you have enough room in your inventory, they are quite heavy, and if you drop them and leave the area, you can't get back without doing the quest again. However you can do as I did and drop crap in that little room to pick it up. Don't drop your Sgrios Necklace though or your Priest will have a cow.

8. If you get the pop-up and can return to 22-2 in time, put your Sgrios Prayer Necklace on again, and step in the same spot, north side of that carcophagus. You'll be transported to that little room, and take your time to read the stuff again, it's interesting.
Poof legend mark, and armour.

Karlopos Quest

1. Kill various monsters in Karlopos til you have 4 livers

2. Go to the bistro (food place by bank) in Oren, ask about king octopus.

3. Go to baldo and say "King Octopus"

4. Next go to Reto, who is in the magic shop (****hest left building in
Oren, west of Baldo)

5. Say "Mireh" to Reto, or just skip that part and say "Liver," you give him 4 livers, he gives you a red pearl.

6. Take the red pearl from Reto to karlopos island. From the entrance go
to 2-C, then north (top right) to 3-C, then to the top corner of 3-C.
You'll see some weird plants and a signpost. Head to the left of the
signpost and you'll be transported to a man who will give you a coral
pendant.

7. This isn't needed, but you can take the coral pendant to
the jewelry lady (sells sparkles) in Oren and say "Pendant" or "Coral
Pendant"

8. Then this is where we need others to help complete quest. (One of each
class) We'll go to 4-C where the rocks are at the entrance and each
class has a specific spot to stand at (have other paths determine where
the others are i.e. priest determines everyones' but priest's), when
all the spots are taken place, you'll be teleported to another area.

9. At this point you have the Trap Room. This is similar to the Porte Forest Trap Room, except that it's a bit longer and various monsters from Karlopos in it. Use the strategy from Porte Forest for this room, too.

10. Once you get through the trap room, using up many reds, you'll have to fight through 6 or 7 areas containing average Karlopos Island creatures such as Gogs, Octopi, Crabs, and Spore Sacs.

11. The waiting room is a bit different. There are five spots, seperated by wooden fences. One of each class will have to stand in one of the spots. The wizard can figure out which class goes where. The top is warrior, second is rogue, third is priest, fourth is wizard, and fifth is monk(I think).

12. Yay! You're teleported to King Octopus! He's easy to kill, provided your group is relatively competent(took around 30 seconds for our group). After you kill him, you're teleported to the boy. He transforms your pendant into a sea coral necklace. You then get teleported back to the Karlopos entrance area.

Mother Love

This can be done from very low insights up to very high insights. It can generally be done once per day. You will need someone with Herbal Lore to make the potions needed. When you talk to the mundane, the first popup tells you her child is having nightmares, but it's the second screen that will tell you what kind of potion you need. If the second screen says the nightmares grow worse each night, you need betony deum. For the viper bite, use personaca deum, and to restore her strength, use hydele deum. The items and experience are random: XP ranges from 1K to 50K (rare), and you will usually get from one to five pots of honey. (Any of these honies can be used for the Caid quest if you get the version of that quest that requires honey.) Both Royal Honey and Pure Honey will show up as "Raw Honey"; you will need to ID to know what you have. Rarely, you will get the coveted purple flower used to obtain the rogue skill, Evaluate. You can perform the quest at any of these locations, but only one per day:

Mileth, Piet, or Undine Restaurants
Suomi Tavern
Abel Inn

Once you have completed it at one location, the child will be "cured" at all the locations until you are able to repeat the quest.

Flame Licked

Like Mother Love, this one requires an herbalist to make the speckled wax (Ancusa Cier). This can also be done from very low to very high insights, although the payoff for higher insights is generally not worth the trouble. This can be done only at Piet Inn, and usually only once per moon (every 3 days or so). The experience is a fixed 10K, and you get a random amount and type of honey. (I have never heard of getting the purple flower from this.)

Nigel's Quest/Caid Quest

Imho this quest sucks, But if your bored....

You can't talk to Nigel, he has to talk to you, To hurry up that process...
Go to Tagor, straight down and to the right there are 3 houses in a row, In the middle one (left of the ranger station) You will find Nigel. Nigel is a little anti-social and he wont talk to you, Instead he'll say "Get away from me, We have no buisness" Harrass him a little bit, walk around, and eventually you will randomly get a popup from nigel asking you do get something for him, you get the item, and bring it back to him, click on him he'll say some crap, yada yada, he'll ask for you to do or get something else, same crap, after the third time he'll tell you to go to the opened gold chest. go to it and you will get a necklace.

The necklace you get is based on your insight(im pretty sure anyways)
So...
-Insights 1-24 will get Caid necklace
-Insights 25-49 will get Tiota Necklace
-Insight 50 + will get Treas Necklace

Dragon Scale Sword Quest

Insight: 20+
Path: Any, but reccomended for warriors.

To start, you need a pirate clothing item. Garb, Shirt, Dress, Blouse, Bandana or Scarf, to be precise. Go to Lynith Beach and walk left. Walk up the beach til you get to a green tent on a raft. Walk to the end of the raft and board the pirate ship, wearing your pirate clothing item. (if you walk around without the pirate item, you will be thrown into the brig, and it can be hard to escape) Walk around til you find the downstairs part of the ship. Take the 2nd door on your left side and you will be in the canteen. Talk to the small pirate behind the counter, and he will give you a tentacle.

Next, go to Mileth Tavern. Talk to the beggar mundane in the green rags who appears to be throwing porridge on the floor, and she will talk about dragons and such. When she is done talking, head to shinewood 8.

5-7

3 8 Dragon Area

|
1 Shinewood Entrance

This map may not be 100% correct, feel free to correct it, mods.

Next you will need to slay a dragon. It has about 20,000 HP and is elemental.
About the same difficulty as a goblin in EW14, so bring a group.
To summon the dragon, press Tab and you will see a dragon's head.
Walk into it's eye to summon the dragon. Slay it, and it will drop the Dragon Scale Sword. You get no legend mark or extra experience for this quest. It can be done every 2 weeks. The sword is powerful and will last you until around insight 50.

That should keep you going a while, after that, you should be an expert.
