I love my 360. And the Xbox Live is worth buying for alone (its even better than the Xbox). Not only that, but I can download demos from XBL Market place. Something which is very handy. For example, im getting fight night round 3 because I loved the demo, and I would never have got the game if I hadent tried it.
With Ghost Recon 3 and FNR3 out this friday, then burnout 360 next friday. Then Oblivion after that, and battlefield modern combat. There has never been a better time to get a 360.
Dont go for the core system, the hard drive is the best thing about the 360, so hold out for a premium.
If you can afford it, why not. It's going to be a long time til the PS3/Rev come out so if you want some next-gen entertainment either buy a good PC or a X360.
Oblivion will be better on the PC as the mods made for it will be hell sexy, meaning the PC version will have more longevity than the 360 version.

and a month later the new tomb raider will be out and they`ve gone back to there roots so theres reason2.
out all the consoles past, present and future, nothing can beat a high specified PC
but the question of what game to get is different, oblivion looks better on 360 and you need a super machine to run it on pc at highest specs. control....i'll say their the same. Other games like racing and fighting games can only be played on consoles cause they suck to play on pc. PC will always dominate the fps and rts games, and mmorpgs although apart from everquest the consoles aint been touched but there are some in the making
and those waiting for ps3 (2007 almost guarentee) it will cost around 100 quid more and manufactor costs is around 600 pound, the 360 is around 500 as they lose about 100 pound each console sold
but this is coming from a person whos very poor to buy a x-box 360 and a decent upgrade for me pc
Fact of the matter is, you wont see a PS3 in Europe until 2007.
If you want a Next-Gen console get a 360. With Fight Night round 3 and GRAW, which just scored a 9.2 from gamespot, and gamespot are very tough on their scoring. It got 9 for everything except 10 for graphics. Its obvious is a fantastic game.
Then burnout 360 the week after that.
Then Oblivion.
Some ww2 plane fighter game that looks fantastic but I cant rem the name.
Battlefield 2 modern combat (completly updated from the last gen consoles)
Gears of war next month we think.
Dead rising in 2 months time.

Not to mention all the games inbetween that ive forgotten or have yet to read about.
Seeing as your not opposed to owning multiple console you may as well jus go out and buy the 360 as soon as you can. Seems silly waiting months for if PS3 to jus decide then which to buy first.
Why not save your money and buy something with a smaller power supply, like a nuclear submarine.

Go ahead and get the 360 dude. Plenty of amazing games, far cheaper than a PC of equivalent spec, FAR BETTER ONLINE THAN ANY OTHER SYSTEM. With no PS3 coming till the Spring and the Rev won't be around till Christmas.
