gears of war 2!!!

well i tell thee, i never thought they would improve on the perfection that was gears 1

but OMG they have gone and done another stonker

the graphics are simply stunning, especially in loverly 42 inch 1080p HD
the gameplay, well if its not broke dont fix it and they have fixed nothing.
add new weapons and new enemys to fight (along with some old faves)
the online is still as good and now you can have 5 per team and some nice online maps and modes.
all in all an absolute corker and the best price i could get was £29.99 at my local morrisons of all places.
im only on chapter 2 (of 5) but for what i have seen and played so far i give this game a very worthy 10/10, anyone with a 360 i urge you go and get it now

You kinda lost my interest in the game at the point where you made the initial thread on 8th of November and have now completed the game and it's only the 10th of November. I like games which keep me going for months, not less than a week.

What else does the game have to offer you now you've essentially finished it?

I can't get that gameplay video to work now, it was working before... Mebbe just a temp issue at that end.

i see what your saying matey
it may only have lasted a few days (maybe 10 hours of gameplay) but every minute it never let up it was constant action all the way through, compare that to a game like lost odysee now that has around 50+ hours of gameplay but one could argue that its just the same boring old turn based fighting with a bit of exploring thrown in, which is better? 10 hours of in your face action or 50 hours of steady adventure??
personally i like both
theres a lot of fun to be had online too, so that should keep me going a while, theres quite a few new maps that i havnt seen yet, so all in all well worth 30 quid

i am now gonna have a run through on insane mode

I loved it too! Was non stop action of holywood film proportions! The game was just truly Epic (no pun intended) it had me laughing, crying and excited! The all round improvement is great and i didnt think it would be THIS good. Def best game of the year.
