Anyone Play Rhythm Games (GH / RB)?

I'm addicted to Guitar hero, and more recently just got rock band, which is pretty good too.
Does anyone else play? I've completed hard in Guitar Hero 2 and 3, and I'm stuck on Woman in 2, and The Metal on 3.
Been stuck on the metal for ages... "You can't kill the metal!"

Can't wait for Guitar Hero : World tour, drums look awesome, I really want to play them .

I bought Guitar hero for PS3 and was dissapointed to find they messed with the controls of the new one so you cant use PS2 guitars with the PS3 but the wireless one is cool

We have g/h 3 for the xbox360, its loads of fun. I have been looking for g/h2 for xbox but cant find it with out the guitar so Im thinking you cant use the same one?

Would love to get rock band but its a bit on the pricey side at mo.

You can get GH:2 without the guitar in a few places, I've seen it in Game and Argos I think. You should get the guitar though, the explorer looks cool We custom sprayed ours, it's sweet.
And get rock band without the instruments, just gives you loads more songs to play.

Whats the downloadable content like for PS3?

Wireless guitars rock, we just got a second when we got Aerosmith, and it feels much more solid than the GH:3 one, the buttons feel like they want to push down and the neck sits in smaller.

Are you guys any good? What's your favourite track to play?

The guitar hero aerosmith looks pretty cool, I love some of their songs so would be great trying to play the game along to them, shame I'm crap at it lol. Guitar hero is brilliant at parties

I like the games, but usually only like 1 or 2 tracks for each version. If i had it myself id have to download tons of other music i know and like.

Rock band is wicked though and much much more fun multiplayer.

I have never played either, don't even know anybody who has. I think I would possibly disown them as a friend
I'm not criticising it, I just hate it without ever having played it.

Aerosmith is ok, but there aren't THAT many good songs on it, compared to 2 and 3. She sells sanctuary and Train kept a rollin are fun, and it's worth it for the guitar, but it's probably my least favourite of all the games.

Pura- guitar hero 4 is going to have custom tracks, where you can create your own tracks then upload them on XBOX live. They've just got some new software liscenced, I read about it a few days ago, that sounds awesome. I really can't wait to pick and play my own songs

Teflon, I was totally unimpressed with guitar hero the first time I saw it. Was at my mates and they were playing, and trying to get my boyfriend and I to have a shot, but we didn't want to make ourselves look stupid (because missing half the notes on easy is pretty embarrassing ).
Eventually we tried it, and got hooked straight away. Went out and bought the game for ourselves and been addicted ever since. It's actually really impressive seeing someone play well. My boyfriends completed them all on expert, and seeing someone finish Through the Fire and Flames on expert is brilliant (he broke a sweat and everything lol).
I'm not that good but I'm getting better, it's just awesome like nailing the solo to some crazy guns and roses track, or hitting a 4x multiplier on the mosh on the Slayer track, maybe it's just because I really like the music but it's really satisfying!

But yes, it's really fun at parties, we've only done 3 player so far (no drums) but I can't wait to get a set Just don't try and do the vocals to Heir Kommt Alex drunk >< German is hard enough sober
