So I've applied for a job, and I've been told that me skills are good but it would be nice if I knew Python or Django. I've heard of Python but never used it, and absolutely never heard of Django. Anywho, I've now installed both of these onto my machine and I'm now working my way through the tutorial for Django.

Half of it's already over my head, but I'm persevering.
Has anyone else learned this language (or Python)? How easy/hard did you find it? What's your best advice on learning it?
Anywho - job guy says because I know what I know, an entry position is about £17k - £18k. Knowing Django that goes up to over £20k. Motivation much?
