Another year and a new discipline

Well after the winter off season have returned to the circuits for annual training days. Completed experienced marshal training did another fire training session and got my book signed to allow for my next upgrade at Cadwell Park.

Also this year was invited to be part of Racesafe Bike marshals and snapped their hand off to join

Will be doing the sort of stuff shown in the following ( ** don't watch this if your squeamish** )



I took their training day at Mallory and did more fire, incident, flag and medical training ( now know the correct method for removing a riders helmet if they are not breathing ), the result of which I am now eligible to marshal for British Superbikes

Will be there at Brands Hatch for the first round and will be doing 4 rounds in total ( 2 at Brands, Donnington Park and Cadwell Park ).

Really looking forward to those days

Didn't manage to get selected for the F1 GP this year ( too many applicants for last Silverstone GP ) but will be out doing a different circuit for those dates or watching it on TV ( now that would be novel ).

Putting name down for WSR marshal again this year. Maybe we can get a gathering from TF to go this year ( ITS FREE FOR SPECTATORS YOU KNOW AND ALL THE ACTIVITIES ARE FREE TOO )
