750MC Mallory - First meeting of the year

Put down for the First race meeting of 2008 at Mallory as an opener to the season this tends to pull in a lot of marshals and this year was no exception. 185 marshals turned up to watch some cracking racing. Again I was one post off all the action but my god what action it was no less than 6 MR2's spinning out of control over spilt liquid on the track and a RED Flag stopping the race which later appeared to have not been requested by race control but by the marshals on the post up from us. 
plenty of action during the day and good fun with some of the guys on post.
got my first signature towards upgrade and wore my new probans for the first time and can definitely state that Tango man was an understatement they almost glowed with newness
Found out that one of the best gadgets a marshal can buy is a scanner to hear race control over the radio's to give you a better understanding of what is happening out of sight of your post.
Must invest in one
