Should Non-Americans be allowed to become President?
So, everyone knows that people who have not been born in the USA can not stand for President.
Is this right?
There was controversy over Barrack Obama, was he American? To be honest, that may have been Republicans just stirring stuff up.
What about Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Governor of California. There was once (there still maybe, I'm not American so I wouldn't really know) talk of Amending a bill that allowed certain Non-American born citizens to be allowed to run for President.
if your going to run a country you've really got to be part of it, if you've been there since 5 or so then thats just as good as being born there probably,
I doubt very much if the original presidents would of met that criteria.
I think you should look it the other way around. What if a foreign mother just gives birth in the USA, travels to her country of origin again with the child... Then this child which has actually nothing to do with the USA... only born there, can be a president?

You have to have a been a U.S resident for over 14 years
Dont ignore the whole factor of needing to be elected! Let the people vote for whatever they want tbh. Its not like people will be forced to vote for someone noone wants in whos not American.
Its blurring the issue tbh, is there a need to prevent non-American born people from being president. Surely the electorate will do that themselves anyway, unless they think otherwise. It seems like a really unnecessary restriction.
Does it really matter as long as he does as good a job or even better job than the one hes replacing. What about having a woman for president? I bet more would object to that than a non american?
Listen the white population of Americans are of European descent, white people did not come from America. So to say that Obama is not American is just laughable, if he isn't American then every President before him was not American either.
