Beastiary
The organic world of Atriana lives, breathes and grows many creatures. Below are examples of some of the inhabitants you will meet on the planet of Atriana. (Like Atriana, this section will continue to evolve as more creatures are added .)

Clyft
The Clyft is the loyal companion of the Unarra, known for its speed and grace. Recently, Clyfts have become a rare sighting. Perhaps when the Unarra reveal themselves once again, the Clyfts will as well.

Cryll
The Cryll is ideally suited to living in the mountainous regions. It’s pointed feet allow it to take advantage of even the smallest of cracks while climbing the sheer cliff walls of its home. This natural agility helps protect it from predators. Their assistance in the Tyrusin assault of the mountaintop Jentra stronghold is famous.

Durakk
Nemesis of the Tyrusin. Bipedal. Organized. Brutal. Sentient. Have a long memory and a historical account that differes from the Tyrusin. Durakk hate Tyrusin because they feel they should be the ones partaking in the global economy and that they have been made to suffer at the hand (or paw) of the cruel, inferior species. (They think it should be the Durrakk on the back of the Atriarch t-shirt.)

Giant Slug
There are only three known herds of Giant Slugs. Unarra researchers have been tracking their movements for several hundred currans and only recently have some patterns begun to emerge. It appears they migrate not on a seasonal basis, but rather on a ten-curran cycle. They are compelled by a strange signal that some theorize come from deep within Atriana herself. Their passing is like that of a glacier, uprooting trees and moving soil and rock, changing the landscape as they go. Some say Giant Slugs are a force of nature and have no intelligence of their own. Others claim they are agents of Atriana and server her will.

Golo
Golos like to dig; it's what they do. They are good at it, and they do it a lot. Golos dig for various reasons. In the wild they do it to pursue various prey and to locate the mineral deposits they need to regenerate themselves. An area that has a large population of Golos tends to be a precarious area to traverse. Generally, the ground will be unstable and littered with holes that are exposed or covered by drifting soil. The unwary traveler can easily fall into one, some of which can be quite deep. So, always bring a rope. If you are lucky enough to capture a Golo, their body often contains various minerals that can be extracted and used to determine the content of the local soil.

Matnotmee
This highly reclusive race lives in the forest and is rarely seen by others. They have a complex society based on the concept of mutual responsibility, they are never seen alone and any threat to one is considered a threat to the entire community.

Mygrym
In it’s natural habitat on the Cavolon continent, the Mygrym will wrap it’s legs around an object or root into marshy ground and sit for many, many cycles of the sun and moons appearing to be just another piece of immobile flora. When threatened, however, the Mygrym will get up and scurry away quickly and with great agility.

Pikatan
Pikatan follow the herds of Kompa. Two or three groups of these creatures can often be seen following any given herd. They are vicious fighters who work together as teams. They will attempt to cull a Kompa out of the herd and then, running on either side of it, they will try to impale the Kompa with the spikes that spring from their bodies. They let the Kompa run in circles as it loses blood and stamina until it can no longer walk. Then the Pikatan will pounce on the now defenseless Kompa and tear it apart. If Kompa's are not available, the Pikatan will turn its tactics on other species.

Pliilar Cone
This creature dwells in the stony fields of the Sinking Desert on the Lokai Continent. Its rocklike structure protects it from the harsh elements. Part rock part plant this creature acquires most of it’s nutrients from the soil. However it has been known to create it’s own mulch by trampling plants or other living beings into the ground beneath itself and then feeding off the decay.

Shardaan
Much of the reclusive Shardaan remains a mystery.

Suppek
Suppeks are attracted to any kind of stabled animals. They are a scourge to animal handlers everywhere. They are hard to detect. They use their tendrils to pierce the skin of animals and suck their fluids. They typically come out at night to do this.

Teemak
The three-headed Teemak is a dangerous predator. It does not display any of the duality displayed by the Akandra. Each head seems to have it’s own function and they have never been observed to be in conflict. The dominant head, usually the center head.

Warmak
This creature has an insatiable appetite. A Warmak will wipe out an entire farm or village if it is not killed in time. It is so destructive in some parts of the world that some towns have implemented Warmak Watches.
