What a month it’s been at Codemasters Online Gaming! I am thrilled to bring you all the latest updates for ArchLord, one of THE most anticipated MMORPGs of 2006!




Hear ye, Hear ye! I am pleased to announce that we have a great competition coming up next month. Not only that but we’ve already seen some staggering competitions go by this month. I hope you didn’t miss out.

We are happy to announce that in conjunction with www.mmorpg.com we are offering players the chance to win one of ten beta accounts! But not only that, we will also be offering the main winner a ATI X1900 graphics card. So keep a close eye on www.mmorpg.com for further details.

Its time has come. We must sadly draw our splitreason.com competition to an end. We have been blown away by the response, with some really excellent wallpapers. All the winning entries can be found in the wallpapers of www.archlordgame.com, and they are well worth taking a look at. I would just like to take a moment to thank all who took part, and offer my congratulations to the winners.



Did you hear the one about the Orc, Moon Elf and Human walked into a bar? No, me neither but if you do then please let me know.

Some of you may have seen it already, but for those of you that haven’t I strongly recommend visiting pc.ign.com and looking at the Race information that has recently been added. Whilst you’re doing that, you can also head on over to www.archlordgame.com and visit the downloads section to grab some fantastic in-game race movies. Be sure to keep checking back for more information

In fact the easiest way is to keep abreast of all the latest ArchLord news is to sign up to the shiny and much loved RSS feeds that we have now introduced to the ArchLord microsite. For those of you that don’t know about RSS feeds:

Yep! You read that right! Our intrepid production team are once again heading to the birthplace of ArchLord, South Korea. The adventurous Anthony Castoro (Director of MMO Games here at Codemasters Online Gaming) and Simon Humphreys (Producer of Archlord) will be traveling to NHN in preparation for the upcoming Beta Test. They’ll be working alongside the NHN production team, adding all the final touches to the game and to get an update on the ArchLord System as it nears completion. However, the good news doesn’t end there. Whilst the guys are out there they shall be keeping a dev diary, providing a fascinating insight into the production of the Western version of ArchLord.

So keep your eyes glued to www.archlordgame.com for the chance to read these exciting dev diaries straight from Korea.

Not only that but you can also look to having some more exciting game information coming out soon. Be sure to get your friends to sign-up to the ArchLord newsletter, and while you’re at it why don’t you set those RSS feeds up so that you are never again left out of the loop?
