I'm pretty sure by now most regulars will have pobably noticed weird things going on with my avatar over the last couple of days... Well, what i've been up to, is installing a new living avatar system onto Total Format.
Basically, summing it up simply, you make posts to earn points, you then spend the points you have made buying avatar components, you then build your avatar and display it the same way you would any other avatar.
This system is only available to registered members of Total Format.
Click Here and then on the new Total Format Living Avatars banner to access the new system. You can also get there by clicking on your avatar in the navbar on the main forum page.
Each post you have made counts for 1 point that you can spend on avatar components, so the more posts you make, the more you have to spend.
There is a catch however! Once you buy an item, you can not sell it, so browse through the 1300+ items very carefully before making your choices.
There are currently two types of living avatar, Space Marines and Cute Anime Avatars. I am currently displaying one of the latter.
Of course, you don't actually need to even add a person image to the picture, you can in fact use any combination of images in your avatar to make it as abstract as you so wish and you can also edit your avatar as many times you like to make it perfect.
Some items cost more than others, so use your points wisely, but please note, this system does not use Pu, this system is dependent on the amount of posts you make on TF and nothing else.
Of course, once you've made your avatar, you could save it to computer and use it anywhere.
Please also note, that intially this system is in a state of beta testing, so should you find any bugs, please report them to the bug section.
More items will be added over time, as well as more avatar sets.
If anyone has any requests for specific items or images, please ask and I will try to make sure they are added, providing they are acceptable requests of course.
Please note that although the odd item looks like it is on a white background, virtually every single image has been tested and once you save the image, they do save correctly and as they should. Should you spot any however that do remain on white backgrounds on the final avatar, let me know and i'll correct them.
Have fun designing.
Yes the vehicles are deliberately priced at those prices. You have to earn them, by posting more.
