After recent updates and tweaks that have been made to Total Format including the front page and the forum, I feel I have now completed approximatey 20% of what I have planned for this individual stage of Total Formats development.
Over the course of the rest of this week and next week, I shall be going through every part of Total Format, making sure all of the website sections work properly, that all of the website sections have a uniform look and feel to them and that they all match the current transitional style that the front page has adopted.
This basic work, which I am calling stage 1, is required and needs to be completed before it would become possible to start adding the new functionality that is planned for stage 2, to every section of Total Format.
Therefore, as was said in my other recent annoucement, please ignore any inconsistencies that may be currently or temporarily visible on the site, as these are ineviatable due to my continued work as progress is made towards achieving a much smoother and more professional looking and feeling Total Format.
However, as always, please report any bugs to the bug section of the forum, but by bugs I mean parts of the site or forum that do not work, not graphical inconsistancies.
Part of this continued work will be major backend work to improve search engine optimisation. While this may not at first seem relevent or important to anyone reading this, to bring new members to the Total Format community via search engines and from other websites without paying huge advertising fees, this is an essential area and one which needs a huge amount of attention, far more than most web developers ever give. To go along with this, Total Format has also been submitted to a professional
SEO and submission company, which should help boost figures over time.
