Website Front Page Changes

During the course of today, the front page of Total Format will be undergoing a number of transitional changes. This should not effect members of the community and visitors at all and will not disrupt service to Total Format, but it may mean the front page dissapears for brief periods, or at least portions of it.

Due to the nature of the work and the delicate coding that is required, the frontpage may take on some rather peculiar appearances while this transformation takes place as this is likely to take several hours to complete. So please do not be alarmed if you visit the frontpage and it looks distorted or if you get the odd database error.

The only minor thing that people may possibly notice would be changes to certain cosmetic graphical elements to other pages of Total Format as a variety of new bits and pieces are implemented or tried for size.

I'm hoping that the result of this effort will be a much improved front page once i'm finished, a page which will be much more welcoming to new visitors and which will give Total Format much more focus on what it is we actually do here, rather than it looking rather blocky as I feel it does at the moment.

Anyway, if your interested, stop by the front page every once in a while to see how things are progressing.
