Hotmail Email Addresses

Since Total Format went live on the new server, we have found we have a problem with hotmail email addresses not recieving emails from Total Format. Emails sent to Hotmail addresses are being sent just fine, but they are not being recieved, they are falling into one of Hotmails numerous email blackholes and being lost.

This is not an uncommon problem, as many other sites have recently been complaining about Hotmail and their email practices.

Anyway, as a result of this problem, a counter measure is having to be taken by Total Format to stop people signing up with Hotmail email addresses, otherwise these people would never be able to verify their accounts and would end up being automatically deleted by TFs system after 10 days and Total Format would end up losing new users because of it.

Therefore, as of now, Hotmail email address are no longer allowed on Total Format, due to the sheer crappiness of Hotmail to have a decent email system in place.

If you are currently signed up to Total Format with a Hotmail email address, you will need to change to a different email provider.

I apologise for the inconvenience, however, it is out of my control, Hotmail are all to willing to let anyone and everyone use their email to send millions of spam emails out every single day, yet they don't want to allow people to recieve half of their genuine ones, therefore Total Format will no longer play along with them.
